We just returned from a 3 night stay and loved our time at this gorgeous and peaceful resort. Our children had a small conflict with another guest's children and we sought help via managment. They were highly responsive, attentive, kind, fair, prompt, helpful and caring to an issue that they didn't need to be to! Thank you! What a lovely place!

What a pleasant surprise this little lake resort was! First time to Maine. Travelled with my wife and kids, and we had a wonderful time. All of the activities are free, from the bikes, kayaks, canoes, and fishing poles. Can't say what a big plus that is with kids. We lit a bonfire every night, and roasted marshmallows. We rode bikes or drove to the quaint town Bridgton, a very short distance away, for food or shopping. The closeness of the town really helps. Lastly, the staff was incredibly helpful. They really went out of their way to get us what we needed. The rooms are small but well appointed, with great TV selection in case of weather. But there is so much to enjoy outside, the room is not significant.

Wonderful!! Carla was super helpful and kept up with all our family’s needs! The apartment was VERY clean and recently updated. We love the common area with many activities available (corn hole, fire pits, bikes, maze, beach, kayaks, paddle boards and much more). The sauna was a wonderful treat after the kids fell asleep. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Sebago Lake area!

We planned a trip to the area on a holiday weekend not all that far in advance, so most places were already sold out. This forced us to expand the geographic zone, and we found the Highland Lake Resort. We booked it, being a bit disappointed at being further away from where we wanted. But it was a nice place to stay. It is an older motel, but you can tell the owners are doing a lot to keep it up. The grounds were great. We had planned on getting up and going, but a quick stroll around turned into a bit of trying this game and that. We wished we had more time to use the grounds. One tiny issue I had is that when I booked it on their website, I agreed to a $25 cancellation charge. But then after I hit enter it said my request was submitted, and I'd have to wait for confirmation. It was evening, so I can understand a small place may only check the computers during business hours, but the next business day came and went with no response. Only after I emailed the next day did I get a response. So I was sitting there hostage to the cancellation fee but don't know if I am confirmed. Fortunately I was and all worked out. I only point this out so that they can improve in this area.

The pictures look great online. This is a decent motel. Although the room was clean and comfortable it smelled very musty like it has been closed up for the season but it was September. With that being said the overall was pretty good. I appreciated that they allow the use of kayaks, canoes etc at no additional cost. Many other seasonal resorts that I have been to usually always charge an additional fee for that. Though we didn't take advantage of this because it was a quick overnight it was nice to have the option. There is also a free game room with pool, ping pong and Foosball, would be great for kids. The lake was beautiful, there are chairs, hammocks and fire pits and hibachi grills. I'm not sure I'd want to swim there because it is pretty rock but their grounds are nice.
