I must say that I was a bit worried after having read some recent reviews of this hotel. However, it seems they have read the reviews are working on any issues that arose.
We had a junior suite, which was just beautiful. It was very...More
Good value. Big and clean apartments of good standard. Very well maintained. Pretty garden between the houses. Two big pools. The drawback is the distance to the beach, a 20 minutes’ walk, unless you drive. You will have a well kept beach almost to yourself...More

Not so good: I am a walker and did NOT walk to the beach (kudos to those who say they do). It is a 10 minute drive at least, through many checkpoints and there is nowhere...More

Dear Mr. Langley
Before the human started to build all the hotels and the city, all it was jungle, private zone for animals. We had since jaguars, pumas to squirrels. Nowadays In the hotels zones, we can see iguanas, ants, snakes, crocodiles, birds, wild cats, coatis, raccoons, sereques, deer, monkeys, wild pig among and others.
In our experience we are adapted to the nature, sometimes we have surprises on the way to the room; you can see iguanas taking sunbaths, wild cats hunting lizzards, coatis and squirrels eating fruts over the trees, a small crocodile relaxing on the small lagoon we have and other experiences.
I think both places are wonderful, it is difficult to choose one of them, they have their own magic!
But please let us know wich place won and tell us about your Amarte experience!
I hope I've helped
