Comfortable and quiet room on the ground floor. Friendly and welcoming reception. Rooms have had a purple PI corporate makeover from their previous ownership. Didn't use the restaurant on this occasion. Plenty of parking and reasonably well lit car park. Fair value for money in the week before Christmas

We have stayed at this hotel a few times, and always found the staff and service to be excellent. Unfortunately, this time we got beds that were too firm, resulting in very little sleep and painful aching backs. Apart from this the hotel is lovely and we will stay there again IF we can get a softer bed!

I've stayed at this hotel many times but this time I was put in Room 101. I didn't sleep all night due to the room being next door to some sort of boiler/engine room with the noise from it being continuous. After a sleepless night with a long drive back to Sussex, I told the receptionist about the problem when...

The room was clean, fully equipped and comfortable for my four night stay. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and available when required. The only downside was being able to hear any loud noises from adjacent rooms although this only bothered me on one night.

All the usual comports of the modern generation of Premier Inns are here to be enjoyed. Having moved from this area, after residing around here for 40 years to Poole in Dorset, it is good to come back occasionally to what is still a very pleasant part of our country
