There is not enough space to explain how great this location was. There customer service was outstanding, every time we were coming or going they were polite and asked if we needed anything or just have a nice day. The rooms were clean and new looking. Very quiet and you did not hear noises from other rooms. There was a problem with my credit card when I first checked in and the staff was kind and understanding and took care of it quickly. Had lots of towels and pillows which are huge for my family. They had an ample selection for breakfast. The vegan options were a little slim but that is still much better than most hotels. It is 7 minutes away from Bowdoin College and that was HUGE for us. We have stayed in this same location 3 years in a row and have always received excellent service. Meghan is one of the front desk people and you will not meet a more helpful person. She was amazing.

Doing the swing through Maine to visit schools and spent one night here (near Bowdoin). Location is near the highway, a bit outside of the town, which was fine. We had booked what was advertised as a one bedroom suite, but realistically it was more of a junior suite. The living room and bedroom only had a half wall between them, they could not be closed off separately. The living area was extremely tight also, if you had opened up the sleeper sofa I'm not sure you would have been able to walk by it. The room though was clean, the beds were comfortable and it overall had a "nicer" feel to it. Breakfast was included, although it ended fairly early at 9:00. While there was plenty of food, it was all pre packaged, warmed up in the microwave options. I understand that with the pandemic many hotels eliminated their buffets and fresh cooked foods, but at this point it is starting to feel like they are simply appreciating that it is cheaper to just nuke a bunch of breakfast burritos vs having fresh options. Overall, the hotel was on the very good side, but I wouldn't say great. I appreciated that it was comfortable, convenient, and well appointed and potentially would stay there again if I was in the area.

Spent three nights there visiting friends. Everything was soooo clean. It was impressive. They didn’t offer many toiletries...just soap and shampoo and conditioner. But if you are coming to Brunswick it is a very nice place to stay tucked sort of out of the way, but easy to get anywhere you want to go. Breakfast was the typical Fairfield Inn breakfast, nothing extra. No fresh waffles. very quiet on the front side of hotel, the other side may hear road noise from US 1. Only had loud above noise one night. We were there during snow and they did a great job keeping the parking lot and walkways clean.

A good, clean hotel with a friendly, welcoming staff. Pool & Fitness areas available by rsvp. Lobby has assortment of snacks, beverages and microwaveable Stouffer’s entrees for room microwaves. Ice & beverages also available on the each floors. Rooms are a bit small, lighting is dim (except in Bath) but beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is an efficient “self serve” with a good selection of fruits, cereals, yogurts, muffins & bagels, juice, coffee & teas.

Believe it or not, during the pandemic, this hotel is full. Maybe a coincident because most of the rooms were booked by a local construction company for party. (This construction company should not do it during cov-19, seriously) As a result, we cannot get a room facing the front which is more quiet. But luckily, maybe during pandemic there is not much traffic, so we don't hear car noise from the highway at all.
The breakfast is cold and very limited, that is the only complaint; staff are good and friendly, will visit again.

caonima4, Thank you for taking the time to reach out with feedback on our stay with us. We apologize that some local tradespeople had an impromptu gathering without informing us. Staff was able to disburse them eventually and we spoke directly to their corporate office who addressed the situation right away. It has been challenging to say the least to provide good variety of options at our breakfast while adhering to all of the state and local COVID-19 regulations. Since your stay, we are pleased to let you know that while we are still prohibited from offering hot items, we have added the following healthy options: sliced almonds, dried apricots, craisins, walnuts, grapefruit, 7 varieties of cereal, and banana chips. We hope that circumstances will allow us to further add to this lineup. We are glad you enjoyed your staff and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you again during your next visit to Maine! Safe travels!

I came to Maine for some much needed R&R. The hotel itself is in a bit of an odd location, but Brunswick was very convenient to Freeport, Bath, and Harpswell. It was important to me to be able to use the indoor pool so I confirmed their Covid policy before booking. I had my own 45 minute allotted time slot which worked well. Unfortunately the hot tub was broken (and not simply shut down due to Covid, I was told) and the pool water was quite chilly. I still appreciated being able to use the facilities. The hotel was very clean though I did find the spray bottle sanitizers (versus dispensers) a little odd. My room was not serviced while I was there and I imagine this was a Covid precaution. The bed and room were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was basic and grab n go. Many items were gone if you waited too late. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, the hotel stay was relaxing.

Sailorgirl619, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are glad you were able to enjoy our pool and thank you for adhering to our COVID-19 guidelines to keep everyone safe. I apologize for the misinformation given on our hot tub; we do in fact have it closed for COVID-19 reasons as it is very difficult to maintain social distancing and proper sanitation in such a small body of water. We appreciate your understanding. We agree with you about the spray bottle sanitizers; supply has been very short and we purchased all we were able to get for the touchless dispenser models. Since you were here, we have been able to get our hands on several additional touchless units. We are replacing the spray bottles with the touchless units as quickly as is feasible. Thanks in part to your comments about breakfast, we are not leaving and stocking most items throughout the day to accommodate for late risers and early check-ins. We understand that travel plans and daily routines have now become more unpredictable, so we are pleased to offer flexibility during these times. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you again the next time your travels bring you to the Brunswick, Maine area! Safe travels to you!

Wow! What an amazing stay at this Marriott! We reserved this room the same day and had a pleasant experience with Hayley who answered the phone. She was very kind and helpful and answered each and every one of our questions. I was here on a business trip and Hayley was able to help me reserve the conference room for the next day for a couple hours. She was extremely professional and I felt completely confident with the entire reservation process. Also, my wife tagged along and was able to reserve the gym and pool for a couple morning hours.
This Marriott has done a fantastic job dealing with COVID 19 and I felt TOTALLY safe the entire time! The room was so clean and tidy and there were plenty of towels, wash cloths, and hand towels. The beds were very comfortable as well!
The next morning, I was able to have a wonderful breakfast and all the items were packaged and COVID friendly. Additionally I checked in at the front desk with the Manager Jason and he was able to confirm the conference room reservation and he let me right in! The internet worked great and I was able to have the conference call with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and will certainly be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The spacious room was clean, comfortable and quiet, giving us a good night's sleep. Our room was surprisingly quiet, given that it faced out toward a major highway. We enjoyed the trees and green space surrounding the property. We walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner, but the walk was farther than we expected, and the road into Brunswick is not set up for pedestrians. So plan to drive if you want to eat out. The breakfast was adequate to meet our needs for traveling the next day.

We had a one-bedroom suite here for one night, so very brief stay. Fairly standard compared to other Fairfield inns we have stayed before. The room is reasonably spacious. There is a pool onsite, though it’s indoor and terribly small. Hot tub by the pool as well.
Microwave and fridge in our suite, but no bottled water. Complimentary breakfast is offered, though we were not informed of it at check-in.

Nice and quiet room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi. Easy check-in. My only complaint is not with the Inn but with TOM TOM navigation. It does not tell you when to turn right onto Old Portland Rd, till you are past the exit. It is right there and a little hard to see. Once you get on the road you are there easy access and parking.

It’s a few miles to Freeport! We stayed in a room that did not have 2 bedrooms, but had a king bed and a queen pull out couch in a separate part of the room with its own tv!
There are more places to choose from in the Brunswick area.
