Detailed Reviews
Stayed here while travelling between Freeport and new brunsiwck. Was easy to get to and park. Check in was simple. Rooms clean and basic. Didn’t hear much noise even being close to a main road. Breakfast was quick and easy as was on the go. Had muffins bagels yogurt with coffee and juice. They also offered a hot breakfast in the restaurant. Would stay again for a night.

Traveled here with my family. Kids had a great time. Rooms were very clean, cleaner than most hotels in the area. The front desk got me situated into my room as quickly as possible. No hassle or screw ups.

I have stayed here many times during the summer for at least 10 years on my way back and forth from Connecticut. The same couple has owned it all that time. They are very nice and accommodating. The rooms are clean and spacious. I love it that I can park right outside my door. It's always quiet and restful. The rooms have nice refrigerators and comfortable beds. No traffic noise in the room. A few times I have tried staying somewhere closer to Connecticut on my way home, but I have never found anything nearly as nice and easy for me as this motel.
Below I checked that they offer self serve laundry. They usually do, and will again soon, but currently that building is under renovation.

old room but new windows, nice lady owner trys hard and has good brekky but this is an old hotel. Rooms are worn and don't smell to hot.
But a good deal if you just need a bed.

I went to Maine this weekend on a whim. It was booked less than 48 hrs before my Travel and I selected this hotel because the ratings were fairly good. I admit to wondering if I had made a mistake as I pulled in the lot, but the office staff was charming. I parked near my room, and opened the door...
To a room that was lovely. Clean, nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. The room had everything I needed, from hair dryer to mini fridge. It was within easy distance of world-class shopping, beaches and dining. If a facade matters, this may not be the place for you, but if you want great value for a moderate price, don't judge this book by it's cover; give it a try.

There is much to be said about businesses that are run by owners with families, vs. those run by corporates. This family work very hard to make their place look nice, but better yet, comfortable and homey. Because rates have now gone up for the warmer season ahead, my husband and I looked for something more economical. We were there to visit our grandchildren, and so just needed a place to lay our heads. Of course, they say that you get what you pay for, and while that can be true, in this case, you get a lot for the price. What really impressed us was the cleanliness of the room, the effort to make the room look inviting (very nicely updated in decor!), and there is little difference in amenities from what the bigger and popular hotels give their guests. We slept well here. But in addition to the great condition of the room, there was hospitality from the owners, with a welcoming spirit from them when first registering. Give these people a smile and they will give you one back. Give these people a chance to show the results of their hard work in making the guests feel comfortable, and you will leave there with a warmed heart in knowing that the folks who own this hotel are good down to earth people who truly want to make their customers happy!

Clean large room with a mini-fridge - What more could you ask for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds were good - not too soft... OK continental breakfast but we were not expecting more. Would stay there again.

The hotel was great, the room was clean and neat, the fridge was a bonus. The staff was cordial and helpful. The hotel was near the things we wanted to see and do. I liked the quietness of the room and the ease of getting to our room.

If you are seeking a typical multistory chain hotel then this place is not for you. Instead this is a great value drive up motel that has been well taken care of by the owners. The rooms are quite large with freshly painted walls, new ceiling, new carpets, and a completely refurbished bathroom containing new vanity, toilet, mirror, and hair dryer. Improvements weren't just done to the interiors, the exterior has new porch lights, paint, and large beautiful flower baskets hanging from the porch area in front of the doors. What makes this inn great is that you pull your vehicle right in front of your door and walk a few steps to your room. No elevators or steps to drag your luggage along. And if you feel the need for air conditioning the wall unit will freeze you out of the room if you turn it down low.
Besides the good value for my money, the primary reason my wife and I stayed here is because other reviews said the rooms were clean. I highly agree with this assessment and found both the room and bathroom well cleaned. And we washed a small load of clothes on site using their clean coin operated machines.
Even though the room has a small refrigerator and coffee maker, we chose to take advantage of the included continental breakfast. It contained, apple and orange juice, coffee and tea, English muffins, bagels, and sliced bread, cream cheese and jelly, individually boxed cereals, and milk. Most people eat these items for breakfast every day and a hot meal really isn't needed. Oh, and there are some pastries too. All bakery items were fresh. It was nice eating in the lobby area with other guests and talking with them and the owners. The husband and wife owners are very personable and a pleasure to talk with each morning. If we happen to return to the area again we will certainly return to this inn.

Budget friendly motel off the highway. Host is friendly and gracious. I came in at night tired and wet on a motorcycle from Nova Scotia to get out of a storm. Not only was I quickly given a nice clean quiet room but the host provided convenient dry shelter for my motorcycle for the evening without my even having to ask! Nice cozy continental breakfast in the morning like being in someone’s home. Enjoyed my stay and glad I choose this property. Guests here from all over the USA & Canada.

Lobsters are fresh, go to a local stand by the side of the road instead of a big restaurant...leaving Bath on route one before crossing the bridge there are three stands that I recommend!
Yes, we do have a senior discount rates. What type of room are you interested in and what date were you planning on arriving. We have a Queen or one small room with a double bed, if you would be interested in it.

I do not recall specifically, but they were the cheapest place around, aside from the Knights Inn. But this place is much better! I think the rooms were around $69-$73 a night when we stayed.
