It's not often you get exactly what you want but that is an understatement in trying to describe the care and attention and just plain friendliness of Susan and her crew at The Norumbega. From Jackie's warm welcome to our extraordinary "Tasting Dinner" and "Wine Pairing" with the "Cutlery Fairy" on Monday night, we couldn't have been happier. The Arundel...

As a little girl I always was awed by Norumbega. Spending my wedding night there was nothing short of a dream come true. The rooms was perfect. The special dietary accommodations that were made for me were nothing short of amazing! We are planning to spend future anniversaries there as well!

We have driven by the Norumbega Inn on Route 1, just north of Camden, for more than 40 years and always wondered what it would be like to stay there. This September we had a chance to find out and the short of it was that it was wonderful. We had opted for a third floor turreted room facing the...

We wish you could have stayed longer too, but there's always next fall! We're so happy that the dream of joining us became a reality, and that it lived up to your expectations. We look forward to seeing you the next time you come through town. The room will be waiting!

We were very pleased with the accommodations, the service, and the food. Chef Phil went above and beyond with the 7 course meal that he and his apprentice Drew presented. Sue and Jacquie were there throughout the weekend to make sure we were well taken care of and if we had any special requests, those too were handled quickly and...

My husband and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Camden. We had a huge room with a view of the water! The leaves were starting to turn and Camden lite up just like the "color bowl" it is! We love this place but especially the new owners. The owner was a magnificent "Chef" and evidentally had won,...

It's certainly that time of year when the air has a nip and the colors are turning vibrant- a fall everyone imagines. Chef Phil loves serving our guests to show off the local produce, and we're glad you enjoyed it just as much. We hope to see you again next fall!

We came upon this wonderful place almost by accident, the home is a elegant gem. From the moment we stepped into the lobby until we checked out the experience was perfect. The room was beautiful and produced one of the best sleeps of my life! The breakfast was not only delicious but graciously served and elegantly presented. Do yourself a...

Please allow me to gush a bit... My wife and I were fortunate enough to hear that it was possible to have dinner at the Inn, even though we did not stay there yet. It was a 60th birthday celebration for me and my wife knows a friend of Sue's. So there you have an example of not what you...

My daughter and I were so glad we chose the Norumbega Inn over the other lodging options in Camden. For starters, the Inn is beautiful, but not so fussy and proper that you are afraid to sit down or walk around. In fact, exploring the house and its many nooks and crannies was part of the fun of our stay!...
