My wife and I have been to the Captain Swift a few times now, and every time we leave we say “we have to come back here!” Rick and Carolyn are great, the rooms are very comfortable, and the breakfast is FANTASTIC. The COVID protocols in place are solid and we never felt unsafe. Highly recommend the Captain Swift. And we will be back!

Property's Favourite Review
My husband and I frequent many B & B's. Captain Swift Inn has just moved to the #1 Best bed and breakfast we have ever been to! Rick and Carolyn are very engaging and aim to please. The accommodations and grounds are stunning and the breakfast is beyond compare. We have already recommended this inn to many friends. We will be returning!

Wow - what a review - thank you both so much Sandy and Norman! We love when our guests tell us we have become their favorite bed and breakfast! And we don't take that compliment lightly as we know there are so many lovely places to stay. So glad you exceeded your expectations and that the breakfast was "beyond compare." We are looking forward to having you back! Stay healthy - Carolyn & Rick

The staff and owners are charming, thoughtful, and very professional. The Inn is immaculately clean, which these days cannot be too highly valued. Breakfast was delicious. Come hungry, the food is plentiful and very tasty.

I have been going to inns all over the world for many years and this one is by far one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. My husband and I were there for three nights in their Mercantile suite. What a pleasure! Every darn thing was perfect. I am a former inn keeper and know that being 100 percent perfect is not easy. The Captain Swift achieves it. The breakfast!! A three course perfection. Even their fruit cup was the best I have ever had. The room was large and comfy. the bedding felt like wrapping in silk. We also had an outside porch of our own and total peace and quiet. Everyone we met at this inn was helpful, kind and friendly. Rick and Carolyn are perfect hosts. I guess I could rave on and on but I think much has already been said in other reviews. We also love Camden and the surrounding area. Such a beautiful place.

Everything about this inn was wonderful. The Camden location made it easy to visit museums and seaside villages. Acadia National Park is less than a two hour drive and made for a wonderful day trip. The Inn itself is very comfortable - probably the most comfortable bed we've slept in! It was so comfortable that I asked the innkeepers what type it was so I could explore the purchase of a similar one. And the breakfast was unlike any I've experienced. Three courses - one more delicious than the other. You must try the inn-made granola! So much good food that we skipped lunch all three days we were there. We thoroughly recommend this inn and will definitely stay here if we are back in the area.
