We stayed in one of the loft rooms and had plenty of space, a nice gas fireplace, king sized bed, big bathroom, and another entire room! The innkeepers were very friendly, gave good advice about what to see and do and where to eat, and the breakfast was delicious.

This was my second time staying at the Captain Swift Inn. The innkeepers Norm and Linda are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. The inn is a perfect location....about a 5 minute stroll from downtown. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts, and an overall sense of happiness while I was there. I will definitely be staying here again in...

This is the second time we've stayed with Linda and Norm and brought our sister and brother-in-law this time. During our weeklong stay in coastal Maine we stayed in 3 B&B's and the Capt. Swift is our favorite. Somehow the innkeepers just hit all the right notes--breakfasts were lovely to the eye and taste and well balanced. Our rooms were...

what a great way to enjoy a weekend as a couple. Fantastic accommodations, the bed was perfect and we slept like bears after our long days of hiking. The food was amazing and the owners were super friendly and attentive to details. The day we returned from our long hike and we were both craving a snack, they brought it...

Cheryl, it was a pleasure having you stay with us and we are glad you enjoyed everything. You both made use of all the great outdoor activities while you were here, we got worn out just hearing about all the hiking you were doing.

My husband and I stayed here one night as part of our Maine anniversary trip. The hospitality was nothing short or great! Norm and Linda were very helpful with checking in and showed us around the house and to our room. The chocolate and peanut butter cake was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, as well. It's hard to argue with the warm reviews and the ability to leave your car and explore. You're even a 5min drive from the Mt.
