The Hawthorn Inn is beautiful, inside and out. Ted and Lisa have tastefully decorated the main floor of their immaculate inn and my husband and I felt at home immediately. En route to Maine from Massachusetts we experienced rental car trouble and Lisa was very flexible about our altered arrival time. She greeted us as soon as we arrived and...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review especially after you commented on not having written very many reviews. It was our pleasure to have you and your husband stay with us. If the car trouble that you experienced had happened to me, it would have dampened my spirits so I had hoped to brighten yours a bit and...

My wife and I went to Camden to celebrate our belated honeymoon and stayed for two nights at the Hawthorn. We booked the Watney suite and were very satisfied. Amazing bed, great view, and oversized jacuzzi tub. The service of the staff and the breakfast were also first rate. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Hawthorn Inn a few years ago and had a wonderful stay with fabulous breakfast. The inn now has new owners and we could not have been more pleased. Lisa was so warm and hospitable and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Our room was very nice with a view of...

My inlaws wanted to celebrate their 50th in ME. So glad we choose The Hawthorn Inn. Its located within a short walk to town, the house is spotless, the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, but most of all Ted and Lisa are perfect hosts. Would never consider anywhere else if we end up in Camden again!

We loved staying at the Hawthorn Inn. Ted and Lisa are gracious hosts. They were so helpful in directing us where to go/what to see after they found out our interest. Beautiful room, clean and inviting. Just out the backyard and through the gate and you are on the water and then right downtown. Delicious breakfast, freshly baked snacks in...

The Hawthorn Inn is located in the heart of picturesque Camden. It is a lovely Queen Anne that has been lovingly restored. The backyard has a lovely deck and outdoor seating plus lounge chairs on the beaitufl grounds so you can watch all the activity in the bustling harbor below. We stayed for three nights in the Carriage House and...

Ted and Lisa are amazing hosts! The property is gorgeous and the breakfast was outstanding. Our room in the Carriage House was beautiful. Lisa even made arrangements for my husband and I to have a massage while we were there. There are not enough adjectives to describe how wonderful our visit was. Can't wait to go back!!

This is the second time I have stayed at Hawthorne, under other owners 10 years ago. Lisa and Ted have kept the tradition as one of the top B&B's in Camden. Always ready to help, they make you feel right at home ... Lovely breakfast and a great location too. Clean and very tidy ... All the things you hope...

Fabulous B and B. Loved our suite. Very fair price. The breakfasts were wonderful as well as all the extra amenities they provide. And the short cut through the back yard to the harbor makes the location perfect!!! We loved Camden! The sunset cruise with Olad was excellent and dinner at Francines topped off a perfect stay. Can't wait to...

This was my first visit to Maine. I don't think Camden is representative of the state. The town has charming all wrapped up -- it's also busy, with crowded sidewalks and streets -- Highway 1 runs right through the middle of town. The Hawthorn Inn is located a few blocks from downtown, certainly within walking distance -- on a residential...
