This is a top notch hotel. Extremely clean, well put together and tons of charm. Fire place in the room, and the balcony overlooking the water is key. Parking can be tricky, but it’s worth the location and customer service. We also loved the heated bathroom floor.

Hotel's Favourite
My Husband and I decided to go to 16 Bayview for Christmas Eve. Being 2020 and not being able to gather with family we decided to get away. I found 16 Bayview through a coworker and was so happy that I did. I booked the Ocean View King Guest room through the hotel's website. The website is easy to use and informative. This is a dog friendly room. Susan at the front desk was so kind, she engaged us in great conversation and got us all set up and checked in. The room was just lovely with expensive finishes and plenty of amenities. They even had a dog bed complete with bowls, treats and bottled water for our Dachshund! The room has a fridge, Keurig, microwave etc all ticked away in a closet so it is out of view. The bathroom was lovely with a huge soaking tub that boasted tiny jets, a huge luxurious shower, double sinks and heated floors! The room was just the right size and the bed was very cozy. Cameron at night was so incredibly kind and attentive, he brought us a HDMI cable (just a side note - they have a system connected to their television that allows for HDMI, bluetooth, etc hookups so you can bring a computer and watch what you want from there. Bring a HDMI cable) and extra towels at the start of the evening. We ordered dinner in our room because we didn't want to leave. They had a lovely Chinese menu made in house and it was delicious! We ordered cocktails from the bar and they brought them right to our room. We also ordered breakfast and that was perfect as well! The quality of the food and drinks really stood out. Along with the kindness and first class service from the staff. The building itself is truly stunning with beautiful unique architecture inside and out. We did not drink or eat at the bar but we peeked inside and it was (as you could guess) absolutely lovely. The bottom line is, if you are staying in Camden this place is really worth a stay, we will definitely be returning! 5 stars.

Dear PTree034, Wow, you've been crowned our new favorite reviewer! What an incredibly thoughtful and detailed description of your fantastic experience from the moment you decided to make your reservation! A great amount of effort goes into creating a clean and comfortable stay for our guests once they've arrived, but we believe there should be an equal focus on the pre- and post- stay guest experience as well as how we may best showcase our region as a whole to our wonderful visitors. So we are very glad to hear that you found the booking process on our modern website to be intuitive, the dining options, including our cozy lounge Vintage Room, to be delicious, and the maybe not-as-recognized tech features found in each and every room at 16 Bay View such as the MediaHubs for all your entertainment needs! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you in our home in leu of the unfortunate circumstances you mention of not being able to gather with loved ones. So again I thank you for choosing us as your getaway destination, and thank you for sharing these kind words of your experience with the rest of the world! Sincerely, Cameron Butler Guest Services Manager

Spent a relaxing weekend with the family in the Loft. Ashley at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The service and food at The Vintage Room spectacular. The cleanliness made us feel very comfortable bringing our 80 year old mom in the time of Covid. The amenities comfy, cozy and elegant. Highly recommended!

Dear Carrie, We are incredibly grateful for both the opportunity to have you and your family with us for a weekend getaway and the wonderful words you've shared to others about your stay. The challenge of constantly increasing the standards of cleanliness and service during a pandemic is rewarded when we read about our guest's experiences, such as yours. Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you back soon. Sincerely, Cameron Butler Guest Services Manager

I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the harbor. Very spacious room, comfortable king bed, cozy fireplace, a great view, and the bathroom was perfect! A big soaking tub with a stand-alone shower with rainfall shower head. So happy with my stay at 16 Bay View and glad I treated myself to this upscale hotel. You won’t be disappointed. The front desk employees could not have been more accommodating and I could tell they were proud to be working at this lovely hotel. I’ll definitely be back and thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Dear BeachLady03, Thank you for the wonderful review. I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed every bit of your room and overall experience. I think I can speak for everyone here when I say that the gratitude and pride in not only our collection of hotels but our town as a whole comes very easily when the experience and products we offer are understood. A tour of any one of our guestrooms, a quick read of a past (and hopefully repeat) travelers review such as yours, or a conversation with any individual in our group of friendly staff is all it takes! No one here ever gets tired of hearing that first "Wow!". It is our pleasure and privilege to deliver this to you and all of our guests, so I must say: No, thank YOU! We are just as excited for your return as you are! Sincerely, Cameron Butler Guest Services Manager

We chose 16 Bay View Hotel for our October wedding. Not only was the Curtis-Bok room the perect reception area, but the rooms were terrific as well. We booked all of the rooms on the first floor (as is required, since they are above the reception space), and our guests really loved them! Nice tall cieleings, and the fireplaces are a great touch. The bathrooms were also the perfect place to relax after a long day of setting up a wedding, and after getting married. Those bathtubs with the jets really helped ease any lingering tensions! Most importantly - the staff! What an excellent team they have assembled at 16 Bay View. First off, out wedding shifted from May, 2020 to October, 2020 due to Covid-19. The hotel could not have been more accomodating - especialy Audrey! She helped us tremendously! Would not have wanted to do it without her. But even the folks setting the tables at the reception, to the chef who prepared the menu, and the lovley folks at check-in, the experience was everything we wanted!
