This is a graceful old place in a picture-postcard Maine town. It is not by any means luxurious, but it's charming and a good bargain. The waterfront is a very short walk away and so are several good restaurants -- a surprising number of them for such a small place. There's not a lot going on in this town, which...

The pull out sofa had a horrible mattress. I woke up with such neck pain. We were told that a full breakfast was included with the stay, however it was a continental breakfast included. We were able to order a full breakfast, but it was added to our room stay.

The Castine Inn is very pretty and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I love staying at the Castine Inn and we will return early next year.

We spent two nights at the Castine Inn. The location is great, right above the harbour and a little more than an hour from Acadia National Park. If you are thinking about this destination because of the restaurant, you should know that it is closed. There are other restaurants in Castine, but we wish we'd been told when we reserved...
