We loved this inn. The rooms are very cute and the builds are on picturesque streets in a wonderful seaside town. My girlfriend loved loved loved the baker that makes us treats and breakfast daily, she was so excited to get to our room each night and for breakfast in bed each morning. We stayed in this inn to explore Camden, Bangor, and Acadia. The location worked out great we enjoyed driving through the area to explore.

Visited for 2 vacations. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is light fare and a selection of hot also. We enjoyed eating on the porch in the mornings. The restaurant on the premises is noteworthy. The owner, Jack will personally guide you as concierge in the morning to great places to visit. If you like history Castine has plenty including a lighthouse. Julie's Bird Song garden is a pleasure to stroll through. Bikes are also available. A gem!

The Inn was really lovely and so conveniently located .. in the heart of beautiful downtown Castine. We arrived late Friday night as everything was closing and the staff treated us like family by getting us some food and a drink... which was much appreciated after a 7 hour drive. We had dinner at the Inn Saturday night and it was absolutely amazing .. both the food and wine.

The Pentagoet is very cozy inn, welcoming, and in a great location. The food was excellent as well. Castine is a beautiful town and on a magnificent peninsula. It is far less busy than Bar Harbor yet only about an hour away.
