My two boys (16 & 18) and I just enjoyed 5 days of wonderful hospitality with Rose and Prince at the Center Lovell Inn. We had been renting the same house just down the road from here every summer since they were toddlers but this year the owners had retired & moved to Maine for the summer, so it was no longer an option. So, we finally had a chance to stay at this historic inn, and what a bonus that turned out to be!! They have made some beautiful interior updates, retaining charming New England decor while simultaneously mixing in more updated furnishings and luxurious touches - really lovely. Rose is an incredible cook - breakfast (included) was a true pleasure and very generous. Coffee/tea and cookies available all day, and best of all, this family really knows the hospitality business, and I really enjoyed our conversations. As always, Kezar Lake and surroundings are a beautiful setting and staying at the Inn puts you in a fantastic location from which to enjoy it all. Try the Center Lovell Inn - you won't regret it!!…
For the 2nd year in a row, I brought my wife and mom for a stay in this fine inn. We admire the innkeepers grace, warmth, and hardwork improving the inn [which is already full of character and a fine place to stay in our estimation.) Breakfast, again, is yummy; this year, we ate out on the porch, with a great view of the white mountains... I wanted to treat my mom to the nicest place I could find in the area while visiting with our children at a local camp; I consider the price a fine value, and am comfortable recommending the inn to families, couples on a romantic weekend, or anyone who has reason to come to the area.
My wife and I stayed in the Center Lovell Inn in October. We were blown away by the location and the property. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was very hearty and with a lot of care taken. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was cozy. It was very peaceful and quite. The only draw back with the room were the blinds. If they were open people could see in and when closed it was too dark. Our only disappointment was that we were expecting to have an evening meal at the hotel after reading the information on the website .We were looking forward to relaxing after a long journey only to find that they weren't serving meals and with no explanation why.
Our stay was so pleasant!! Greeted from the moment we got there. We were shown our room which was quaint and clean. Breakfast was AMAZING, served banana pancakes with fresh fruit, sausage with coffee orange juice and water. The people who own this place are so nice, polite, and welcoming. We will definitely go back in the future!!
The couple that own the Inn were both very nice and accommodating. It was quiet with lots of hiking trails nearby. There are little towns one can visit for shopping, lakes and rivers for kayaking, or just sit in teh yard and read.
