On our recent trip to Maine we stayed at five different campgrounds from Bar Harbor to Kennebunk. We stayed here for one night and that was too long. The bathrooms and showers were not very clean. The other campers were pretty odd and it seems men don't wear shirts while staying here. We had a second site for our sons... More

Stayed here for two days this month (August). Fire pit was not cleaned. Had old cigar ends and trash in pit. Beach area is almost non existent. There was a small area near the boat rental area which was called the "Beach". Not very inviting.. Overall condition of campground is fair at best. Did not see any staff members cleaning... More

If you like a campground where your children can run and play and enjoy the facilities, where you can rent both motorized the note non-motorized boats sailboats kayaks etc for very reasonable prices, like to be active; tennis, frisbee, ball field, etc then you will like this campground. If you like quiet peace and sitting then this might not be... More

We booked site 752 on the edge of the ballfield. According to the site map it was a corner site. When we arrived there was a site next to us but it was never used. There was trash all over our site when we arrived (candy wrappers, bits of paper etc). The firepit had not been cleaned out after the... More

I booked a campsite with this campground, going in blind. Much to my dismay, after booking, I learned of the horrible reviews online. I decided to hope for the best. When I showed up, I was charged a tremendous amount extra for my guests, which I was never informed of. I paid $90 for the campsite for the weekend, and... More

We spent the 4th of July 2015 at Lake Pemaquid Campground, we had sites 400 & 400A. It was off the beating path of all the kids activities which was great for us as it was a adult weekend. The bathrooms & showers were clean. There was boats in the water at dusk and the FIREWORKS show they did was... More

Every year in August we make our way to Maine to the Lake Pemaquid Campground. We stay in one of the cabins (109) and while it's probably not considered luxurious to say the least it is certainly clean and dry every year which is exactly what one hopes for in their sleeping place when camping. There is one bedroom with... More

If you want to go where kids are running around uncontrollably, many children driving golf carts all day and half the night, pay for everything including the use of a rake...this is the place. I sent an email about our disappointment, never even received a response. We asked to use a rake to rake our site as it was pretty... More

What a dump. It's a transient trailer park. it's not very clean, no one on the staff seems to care about anything except one lady in the camp store. Customer service? Ohhhhh no. Every time we asked to do something, the first and immediate answer was no. Getting any concessions out of them was like pulling teeth. And it's been... More
