Only reason I gave even two stars is because the location is good for access to Acadia and the rest of the coast. But the place itself, nope. I have been staying at resorts via Interval for nearly 20 years, including other resorts in Maine and all over the US and Europe. This one was by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed in. We stayed in the Manor, 71A, April 23-30. No idea what the townhouses or villas are like. First, it was not very clean. During covid, I would think cleanliness would be prioritized. Sticky cup rings on the dining table, baseboards filthy, baseboard heaters filthy. Some of the kitchen utensils did not look like they’d been washed. We found candy wrappers on the floor and earring backs in the dresser drawer. Speaking of dresser drawers, half of them just fall out when you try to open them. Very awkward for my son, who was recovering from shoulder surgery and had only one useful arm. Second, the place needs a serious update. Furniture is very old, the chase lounge in the second bedroom was very stained. Dresser drawers not functional. Carpets look like they are 40 years old. Can’t even make out the pattern, and there was a big burn mark on the carpet of the master bedroom. It was just gross, who knows how clean they are? Also, swag curtains?? Really? Made the place look like a funeral parlor or an old folk’s home. And scuff marks all over the trim, some touch up painting would not be that hard, would it? We were very disappointed, as this unit did not feel at all cozy or relaxing. In fact, we hated being there and avoided spending time there as much as possible. Which is a shame, because part of staying in a place like this is having a space to just have day to chill and relax. We have stayed at other timeshares in Maine that were exactly that. This place was not that at all. It felt like a large version of a Motel 6, and I’ve stayed in nicer Motel 6s. I feel like the management just doesn't care enough to put an effort into this place. We loved this part of Maine and everything we did there. But coming back to this unit every evening was just depressing. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

I checked in on a Friday in mid-October 2020 and was given a unit in the Manor building. The unit was beautiful, two large bedrooms, two large bathrooms, full size kitchen, and beautiful large dining and living room. The larger of the bedrooms had a beautiful spa alcove with a deep jacuzzi tub. The service at check-in and check out was friendly, helpful and courteous. I was in unit 71A. It was immaculately clean and spacious. I have stayed in timeshare properties throughout the US and this is definitely in the top 3 for service, cleanliness, and comfortable spaciousness. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The resort is all right. The location, near Acadia and the beautiful coastal towns, is ideal. The time share units (townhouses) are spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed our small, private patio. Our unit #41, had new stair carpets. The bathrooms were fine as well, although the whole unit is just showing it’s age. Living room furniture really needs replacing. The beds were comfortable. We utilized the grills a couple of times and enjoyed eating there. However, there is NO AC in the unit. This was the hottest July on record in Maine. A box fan was provided but did little when the night air doesn’t cool down. It made returning to the resort from the beautiful area, very painful and undesirable.

I'd say one of the nicest thing about this resort is the location. It is very close to the Acadia National Park along with other interesting sites. This resort is older and doesn't have a lot of amenities but our 1 bedroom was very spacious and clean. The gals in the front office, Tricia and Sue were very helpful. They gave us several good ideas as to what to do. The first night we were here our TV wouldn't come on. We called and Jimmy came over. He had it fixed quickly. We really enjoyed our stay here.
