This is a tiny roadside café with rooms. Sophisticated it is not, but as a port in a storm (tourist season in The Loir Valley) it did me well for a one night stop.I think the ownership has changed recently, I had a good welcome and the room was clean, with lots of hot water, simple, but good. I did...

We happened upon this restaurant last year and it has a wonderful location by the Vienne, so we went for a proper 3 course meal this summer. It was great, it has lots of lovely outdoor seating, is dog friendly, the man who serves is helpful and speaks English (I can speak French a bit, but am not very good)....

Came across this hotel/restaurant while touring the Loire Valley. Run by Roger and Abdul this really is a wonderful place to stop off and recharge your batteries. A lovely terraced area overlooking the Vienne, can't think of anywhere nicer to enjoy a Pastis. The food is fantastic, especially the tagines. A real taste of France with a Morrocan twist
