We had a girls weekend this past weekend (March 13-15,2015) and we had a great time. The Harraseeket Inn is a very well kept inn. Its beyond clear. The help at the inn is wonderful always greeting you whatever part of the inn you are in. A full course breakfast is included if you book on line(but check to see...

Thank you for your review! Our room rates do include a full buffet breakfast and afternoon tea if you book your reservation directly with us, either on our web site or by phone. This is a great deal so it's well worth taking a few minutes to book your own reservation. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward...

I first visited the Harraseeket Inn when invited to a scrumptous buffet lunch in their tavern, I had been staying at the other "name" inns/hotels/motels in Freeport and Portland over the years since the family homeplace was sold, but none are like this!! Stayed with a friend on business for three nights, mid-week in March - the Innkeeper kindly upgraded...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and you're so right about Robert McKloskey's "Time of Wonder" deserving space in our gift shop, along with "One Morning in Maine" and "Blueberries for Sal". His children's books are iconic Maine legends. We will look into getting them on our book shelf ASAP. Thank you so much for posting your...

Last July, I celebrated my own birthday by inviting my two adult children on a four-day L.L. Bean Adventures kayaking trip; we spent four days kayaking and camping on deserted islands off of the coast of Maine. There were no showers, of course, and we had no running water. We used a compost potty station in a tall narrow tent,...

Wow, your four day LLBean kayaking adventure/birthday celebration last July sounds absolutely wonderful...all except for the downpour at the end! We're so glad your first stay with us was the perfect end to your grand birthday adventure, and we're so pleased you enjoyed your lunch in the Broad Arrow Tavern. Thank you so much for posting this review, and we...

Stayed for two nights in room with two queen beds. Easy check-in and friendly front-desk staff. Comfortable room, a little on the tired side, but fine. Loved the Jacuzzi tub. Free wi-fi worked well for Netflix. Ate at the bar and had room service. The food is just average - don't splurge here. An easy walk to shops in Freeport....

Thank you for your review. Your comments about the food being average will be passed on to our chefs in both the Broad Arrow Tavern and Maine Harvest Dining Room. We utilize the best and freshest of locally grown and harvested ingredients and the fare is usually very good. Our farmers and growers work hard to bring us their harvest...

This was our second time staying at the Inn . Terrific staff , beautiful room . Breakfast is fabulous , we were a wee bit disappointed with afternoon tea, there was not the choice there was on our first visit. They seem to be cutting back. The Inn was a bit noisy as there was a wedding going on that...

We're so sorry your stay with us didn't meet your expectations. Our afternoon tea should have been as plentiful as it's always been, and your comments will be brought to the attention of the chefs and the afternoon tea stewards. We do host weddings here at the inn, and summer and fall are popular seasons for these events. We try...

Freeport Maine is a place to visit for so much more than the shopping outlets. The Harraseeket Inn is one of those reasons. A beautiful property set on the main street it boasts wonderful rooms, and superb cuisine. We stayed in a large room with a wood burning fireplace, comfortable king sized bed, and a jetted tub. There was ample...

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us! The Freeport area has much to offer shoppers, but there are many beautiful coastal areas to visit as well, and of course LLBean is always offering their "Walk-On Adventures" for those interested in cross country skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, biking or fly fishing. Thank you for a wonderful review and we hope...

We had stayed at the Harraseeket Inn about 22 years ago while visiting Freeport Maine. We decided to return with our 2 daughters, 21 and 18. We stayed in a townhome on the property which was a 3 bedroom and ideal for this family. The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to all of the shopping on Main Street...

An outdoor hot tub would be wonderful, thank you for that suggestion! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. We're replacing the carpeting in many of the guest rooms this winter, along with other upgrades and renovations which are an ongoing process in an establishment that's open year 'round. This hotel is stuck in the forties. The building is attractive, but the décor incredibly dated, dowdy, dingy. The furniture in our room was like chain hotel furniture.
