Just a quick stop heading from Portland to Bar Harbor. Had a non-smoking room and when we walked in it smelled like smoke and also musty. Hairs were in shower and sink. When I dripped some water on the tile bathroom floor and used a towel to wipe it up, I looked at it afterwards and it was black from the dirtiness of the floor. The man working in the morning at the front desk was very nice. The man who checked me in at night wasn't sure of the times of the breakfast in the morning. There is an old dirty mattress against a tree at the end of the parking lot. It served the purpose of a place to stay and was recently renovated, but not somewhere I would stay again. There were still places on the wall that were primed but not painted. Walls were very thin and could hear neighbors.

This place had a good price for an otherwise expensive area, although I wish it had been more forthcoming about the every-other-day maid service. Hot coffee (no breakfast) was good, and a rarity these days. Location is close the a major grocery, LL Bean and other attractions in Freeport. Wish the TV got major networks, not just ESPN, etc.

I stayed here over the weekend. It was inexpensive and in a pretty good location. Pretty clean. A little run down, but I was not unhappy with the room. I have a dog and it was a pet friendly location. Walls are VERY thin and you can hear everything. It was okay, because my neighbors were pretty quiet. However, I was relatively shocked when, in the middle of the afternoon, a black pickup drove in and dropped off a woman. She was obviously a prostitute. Fortunately, the man who hired her was staying in a room away from mine so I didn’t have to hear them, but an elderly couple were unfortunately right next to them. The hotel needs to crack down on this as should the local authorities. I love Freeport, and didn’t realize they have a huge prostitution problem. I won’t stay here again, and I’m not sure I’d be too excited to even stay in Freeport again. It’s a beautiful little town with a nasty little secret. Pay the extra money and stay in a better location unless you want to be exposed to prostitutes.

The man who checked us into the hotel was extremely professional and kind. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I am very picky when it comes to hotels and usually stay at much more expensive brands. This hotel offered friendlier service, clean comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. I will be staying here again. Thank you

My husband and I were traveling from Ohio to Maine by car to celebrate our 38th anniversary and that we both beat cancer! We decided it was time to make some check marks on our bucket lists. The first night we stayed at an EconoLodge in CT and it was horrible however we decided to give this one a shot. We were happy we did. All the staff here are pleasant, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for a 2nd night. Room was clean, beds were confortable, tv worked, and internet was fine. Breakfast was good. When we come back to this area we will stay again. Thank you for everything.
