If I could give zero stars I would. The rooms were dingy, the lobby was a mess, there was trash strewn throughout the hotel. No common areas, no public bathrooms, the entire downstairs reeked of chlorine, the "gym" was in disarray and unusable. The "continental breakfast" consisted of a prepackaged muffin. The attitude of the place is basically that no one cares about how it looks and feels to guests. What a joke.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. I apologize that the breakfast made available was not to your liking. We are under restrictions that state that the foods offered must be prepackaged by the manufacturer with little to no need for preparation. This means packaged bakery goods, packaged cereal, packaged oatmeal etc.,. We also have ready to heat options available. There was a sign on the microwave saying to see the front desk agent for more options. I am concerned with the chlorine smell. We use a disinfecting cleaner that is peroxide based and our pool, currently closed, is a mineral pool and does not use chlorine.

This was not the most expensive place in Freeport, so I guess I should have expected what I got. The place wasn't terrible, but it could have been better. The place is a outdated and a little dingy. The internet is slow and/or down. The room had no facial tissues, just an empty holder. I have bad spring allergies. When we asked the front desk for a box, she sighed audibly and reluctantly gave us a box(claiming they were her own tissues) . Traffic noise from 295 was pretty loud. I will do a little more research next time.

The Comfort Suites wasn't very full but despite an advance reservation they gave us a second floor room facing the interstate. Think noise all night. The hot breakfast touted on their website was a collection of prepackaged snacks and some fruit. The front desk clerk, Laura, was rude (as other reviews have mentioned). Their excuse was that a small covid disclaimer on the third page of the booking form should have told us things were not available. The room was not well cleaned.

Thank you for your review. The breakfast that we offered was within the guidelines published for our brand by our corporate office while adhering to our local health and safety mandates around Covid. Those mandates require manufacturer packed and sealed items that are ready to eat and fruit. Unfortunately both sides of our hotel face major roadways. When assigning rooms we review notes provided by guests to select the best fit for them and then assign guests without preferences. Your reservation did not list any preferences.

This is not somewhere you want to stay. Even on a budget. Dirty Rooms. Non-responsive ownership. You have been warned! Hair on towels. Hair in bed because it was NOT remade with clean linens. Food and trash on floor. Still have not got my "Incidental" charge back two weeks later.

We are sorry to hear that your room was not as clean as it should have been. In regard to the hair found on your towels and linens, we have have noticed that the microfiber sheets have a good amount of static in them when they come from the dryer. We have installed static guards in the dryer in the hopes that they will reduce that magnetic affect they have of pulling hair and lint onto them sheets. We have noticed a slight reduction in the static, but lots of reduction in wrinkles as well as an increased level of softness. As far as the incidentals charge, our records show that this was released at checkout. If the funds are still on hold I suggests calling your financial institution.
