on previous visits to the states we have stayed in chain hotels. never again if the pinecrest is a typical example of BB . we loved it. we had a suite, beautifully appointed and very comfortable. the house is clean and homely and Internet access is fine downstairs, although a bit hit and miss on the second floor. Amy and...

My co-worker and I opted to stay at this sweet B&B while in town for a training, rather than an impersonal local motel. SO glad we did! Our room was lovely with private bath, breakfast was a gourmet treat each day with delicious coffee in their cozy restaurant. I only wish we got to enjoy dinner there, but had to...

In a different life, 1978-1981, I lived at 91 South Street, now PineCrest Inn. It was then a four apartment plus landlady residence. My stay this time was for my son's wedding. Happily, little has changed in 35+ years! The house is still beautiful and the yard gorgeous. Mrs. Beauchamp, however, never served us breakfast back in the late 70's,...

We stayed 5 nights in the inn's Gorham room. Upon arrival, we were not offered any help with our luggage and when we asked for more hangers, we were told guests steal those... do they not replace them then? We were in the US for 2 weeks so a half dozen hangers for two people... The innkeeper said he'd buy...

This was our first time visiting Maine and our first B&B experience, and I must say it was excellent. Two thumbs up. This beautiful B&B is basically equidistant to everywhere we wanted to go...Freeport and LL Bean, Portland for food and sightseeing, Old Orchard Beach, and Cape Elizabeth. We really enjoyed our stay and the only bummer was having to...

We traveled to Gorham for a family party. The Amherst Suite was quaint and cozy - nicely decorated - but . . . late at night as we were soundly sleeping (comfy bed), we were awakened by a faint alarm sound from the smoke alarm above the bed. I sleepily called the inn's number and got voice mail! No call...

Beautiful rooms and the Inn keepers Matt and Amy are wonderful! I am hesitant to say how much I really like staying here as I am selfish of my found gem. I am in Maine on business once or twice a year and this is my choice to stay. The pictures of the rooms dont do them justice - they...

Loved this Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful house and very comfortable. We had a room on the third floor which was very nice but we had a disabled child with us so it was not disability friendly which was no reflection on the pinecrest. The room was very clean and cool and quiet. Breakfast was really nice, pancakes were beautiful. Owners...

We stayed in the Quincy room and were very comfortable. We were taken how the room was tastefully decorated with black and white contrasts against blue patterned wallpaper. The linen as stated on the website was a treat as was the comforting bed. We enjoyed the location in a fashionable country neighbourhood in the small town of Gorham which is...

We stayed here when we dropped our daughter off for her first year of college at the University of Southern Maine. Gorham is a cute little town and the Pine Crest Inn was a very comfortable place to stay. The room was cozy, clean, nicely decorated, and even had a mini Kreuig (which in my opinion was a plus)! The...
