I stayed in the Cedar cabin for three nights. It is very well-maintained and I loved the screened-in porch with a sofa. It was a great nap spot. The bed was comfortable, too. You can walk over to John & Mary's porch to use their internet hotspot, but otherwise you are unplugged from the world.

Maine is a great state, full of lakes and streams, woods and wildlife, and lots of things to do in the outdoors. Our hosts were John and Mary Arcaro, who are friendly and welcoming. Also, John is a Registered Maine Guide, who can be booked ahead of time to take people fishing and hunting during the seasons. If you want...

My friend and I called last minute to spend some days hunting. They responded quickly and provided accommodations for our needs. We were welcomed into a clean and very comfortable cabin. The owners are the salt of the earth! You will love your time here.

I discovered Grand Lake Stream and Canal Side Cabins in 2008 and it has been a favorite destination several times a year since then. John and Mary are the consummate hosts and the cabins are rustic and cozy, while still offering every amenity necessary for a pleasant and relaxing stay (heat, shower, TV (which never gets turned on), gas stove...

This place is amazing during the spring & summer time are the best! This is a great place for a family vacation. Our lil' family sure really loves this beautiful place. This a place where we come and visit with family and friends. We will definitely will come again soon! We love John and Mary! <3

If you enjoy the outdoors, Grand Lake Stream is the place to be. I have been to Canalside Cabins every season and I've never been without anything to do. Fishing, Hunting, Kayaking, Canoeing, swimming, ATVing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking, and just good ole relaxation by a camp fire, there's never a dull moment.
