Stayed for an extended period of time, rooms were clean, it’s what you’d expect for a small inn... people are so friendly. Can’t say enough about them all. It snowed quite a bit and that made it fun for the wife and I, the surrounding area is gorgeous Thanks.

Enjoyed a quick stay with my daughter to hike Kineo and ended up doing the Loop Trail too (behind the inn) after a recommendation from the friendly staff! Clean, great location, close to Greenville, and perfect for a few nights! Hope to come back in October for another quick

Checked in and although the room was shabby, I figured it was just "homey." Well, I kept getting new bites on my face and arms throughout the week. I then started to see some dark spots on my sheets and checked the bedding to see if I could find anything. At 12:30am I woke up

It has always been one of our top priorities to address any concerns or complaints from our valued guests. In regard to the review posted on your site, we immediately conducted a full investigation in order to address the issue. In August, our hotel occupancy rate was 96%. The hotel room in question was occupied without interruption, and we received no complaints throughout the entire hotel. We have contracted with a licensed pest control exterminator in which they do routine pesticide treatment for eradication in each room. Since the complaint was filed, the exterminator immediately inspected the room and found no trace of bed bugs. Modern Pest Control has been monitoring and inspecting, and treating our facility weekly for the last 8 years as part of a proactive program for hotels. Unfortunately no property is immune to this possibility, it is suggested that bed bugs are easily attached and hide themselves in luggage, and can live on clothing and may be spread by a person unknowingly wearing infested clothing. In addition, the rash may be a skin irritation or an allergic reaction from something that was mistaken as bed bugs bites. Nevertheless, we sincerely regret any trouble or inconvenience we have caused you. Our hotel aims to consistently deliver a professional service to our customers, and we take great pride in maintaining a reputation of excellence.

This past week we traveled to Moosehead Lake and stayed here. Not a luxury hotel but clean, good bed and a mini fridge that worked well. Nice shower, out of town, but close. We were disappointed that we didn’t have view of lake. The staff was friendly and helpful. Coffee at
