Our reviews say it all. Serving the Augusta Maine area, Maple Hill Farm is a small boutique hotel (an intimate country inn, if you'd like to call us that!) that perfectly combines true eco-consciousness, country serenity, relaxing comfort, and fine amenities. Surrounded by acres of rolling fields and woods, including an active bird feeder and a barn full of llamas and chickens, we were named "One of the Best 5 Green Hotels and Inns" in New England by Yankee magazine in 2017, and also Maine's first certified "Environmental Leader" green lodging establishment with a huge solar electric array plus solar hot water and its own wind turbine. Every room has a private bath. Huge double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and private decks accentuate some guest rooms. A sauna and outdoor hot tub beckon the guest to truly relax, along with full bar service, a full breakfast cooked to order, and personalized attention. Four EV charging stations, too!

I’ve stayed here multiple times for work and it never disappoints. I have had big rooms and small and have enjoyed both very much. The gas fireplaces are such a nice touch and the cooked to order breakfasts are wonderful. I won’t stay anywhere else in the Augusta area because this place is just too lovely.

Hotel's Favourite
We loved our stay at Maple Hill Farm and would definately come back when return to ME. The owners and staff were all so helpful and offered some great hang-out spots. The town of Hallowel was a surprise in that we didn't know that it was there. It's a historical district next to a large river, tons of places to eat and shop around. Lots of historically memorability around to read and see. People are really really nice here. Another recommendation that we really enjoyed was the pond down the street. This was incredibly private and we just floated around on our float, hiked, ate, swam. Perfect since it was 90 degrees! The pond was so crispy clean not to mention the air!. We stayed in Rm 8, it was incredibly clean, had a refreshing cross breeze, gigantic whiripool, pillow top bed, lots of places to unpack our stuff, great view of the front and they straightened up the room for us everyday. The breakfast was delicious, freshly made. I had the egg benedict, they have fresh muffins all flavors. You can have coffee/tea (herbal too) all day long if you wanted to. Important to note is that they are 'green' friendly and you can plug your car in one of their may ports. OH, they had a ton of cute animals running around (and under control of course). and the property was impecally manicured. As I write this, I just wish I could be there again! Thanks Scott, Vince and staff!!

Thank you for your kind review, and we're so delighted that you discovered our "secret" community of Hallowell with its vibrant downtown, plus Jamie's Pond right next door. Our llamas and chickens in the barn, and our two indoor-outdoor kitties look forward to your next visit. All the best!

Wonderful place, with fabulous owners. Enjoyable stay and delicious breakfast included. We stayed in room 2 which has a fabulous two person jetted tub. The room was great with a gas fireplace and the overall bb was clean and comfortable in spite of covid.

We've been to this B&B three times, 10 years in between; and Scott and Vince have never disappointed. So quaint, clean; and cozy. We will always go here whenever we're in the area. The rooms are excellent size, with all of the ameneties.
