Our reviews say it all. Serving the Augusta Maine area, Maple Hill Farm is a small boutique hotel (an intimate country inn, if you'd like to call us that!) that perfectly combines true eco-consciousness, country serenity, relaxing comfort, and fine amenities. Surrounded by acres of rolling fields and woods, including an active bird feeder and a barn full of llamas and chickens, we were named "One of the Best 5 Green Hotels and Inns" in New England by Yankee magazine in 2017, and also Maine's first certified "Environmental Leader" green lodging establishment with a huge solar electric array plus solar hot water and its own wind turbine. Every room has a private bath. Huge double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and private decks accentuate some guest rooms. A sauna and outdoor hot tub beckon the guest to truly relax, along with full bar service, a full breakfast cooked to order, and personalized attention. Four EV charging stations, too!

I am always excited when I have a meeting to attend in Augusta, Maine because it means I can stay at the Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center! From the minute you walk in the door until you leave Scott and Vince are very attentive to any need you might have. The rooms each have their own character and once you pick a favorite, you keep booking it! The breakfast each morning to cooked to order and the kitchen fridge always has treats to eat.

Excellent experience. All the charm of a quaint bed and breakfast in the country, with all of the convenience of modern hospitality. Rooms are quiet, clean, very comfortable, and make you feel at home. The conference center has everything you need for productive meetings, flexible space, internet, catering, easy parking, great location, and fantastic service. The location and service made the trip wonderfully memorable.

Maple Hill Farm Inn and Conference Center just south of Augusta, Maine, offers a comfy and relaxed hilltop locale complete with sumptuous food and the comfiest beds. Best of all is Scott and Vince's heartfelt hospitality! And a top shelf bar.

The location of the farm is ideal for relaxation. Surrounded by greenery, a few minutes drive from Hallowell, it is the ideal place to relax and rest. The staff is very kind, Scott at the reception is always available to chat and recommend places to visit. The rooms are clean, large and cozy, the bathroom is clean and in our room there was also the hot tub. A sauna is also available on site. Breakfast is freshly prepared by choosing from the Ă  la carte menu, with fresh eggs from the chicken coop. Cakes, muffins, coffee and tea are also available. Would definitely stay again

This was such a comfortable stopover while traveling Downeast. The innkeepers were warm and welcoming. The room was cozy and the mattress was terrific. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening with complimentary dessert (several choices) and there was an option to buy drinks from the bar as well. The huge breakfast included in the stay had a buffet of coffee/tea, juices, fruit, yoghurt, baked goods and numerous choices for a full, cooked meal. Several EV chargers allowed for overnight charging. The gargantuan sugar maples out front were impressive even without any foliage change...fall must be spectacular.

This was our first trip to Maine and our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. Both of these experiences greatly surpassed our expectations! When you arrive in Maine, you can just feel the fresh air and feel the good vibes all around you. This is the same experience we had arriving at the Maple Hill Farm Inn. What a gem! Tucked into a beautiful meadow, the Inn oozes old world charm! Scott was there with a huge smile to give us a tour of everything the Inn had to offer, which was a lot! Cozy living room, well stocked kitchen, dining room if you felt like bringing in food. Then on to our room, #8, a king en suite with a jacuzzi tub and access to a private deck. The bed was so comfortable, the furnishings so authentic, the bathroom clean and well stocked and most importantly the air conditioning was fabulous! There is also a sauna on premises, which we didn't use but it was very inviting! There are wonderful spots to enjoy the beautiful breezes, sunrises and sunsets all around the inn. The breakfast that is included with your stay was AMAZING! Cooked to order, so any delicious choices and a lovely dining room shared by the other guests. We had a wonderful time with Kevin, Scott & Connor and we will certainly be back!

Our experience at Maple Hill Farm Inn could not have been better. This is a truly exceptional property--an inn that maintains the charm, character, and personal touches reminiscent of the way New England inns used to be--but with modern amenities like a hot tub and sauna. Maple Hill Inn is a true rarity in the 21st century.

This provided a relaxing and welcoming break for a couple of nights nights while travelling around New England. The breakfasts and ever-available cookies and treats were delicious, the hosts warmly welcoming and the local eateries in Hallowell were excellent for tasty dinners. Walking around the local countryside during the daytime helped work off some of the calories consumed! All in all a few days well spent.

This place is rated 5 stars for a reason! Absolutely the best Bed & Breakfast we've ever visited.

The property itself is a picturesque oasis in the middle of the Augusta-area wilderness. The grounds are peaceful and well-maintained, with a secret little trail in the back leading to Jamie's Pond and more hiking trails.

There is an outdoor hot tub for guest use, along with a cute little sauna. We greatly enjoyed spending the time soaking and lounging amidst the nature.

From start to finish, Vincent and Scott were exceptionally accommodating. They were quick to offer local tips, or pour us a glass of wine from their own full bar (ok, we splurged and got a bottle!) The breakfast was dynamite - do not leave until you've tried the blueberry pancakes and/or eggs benedict! The coffee itself was amazing as well, better than most coffee shops.

Overall, we can't imagine a better spot to escape for a romantic little weekend in Maine. Thank you for a wonderful trip. We will definitely return!
