We stayed two nights in the Bethel room. The room was very comfortable, though small; it helped that it has its own private bathroom. The host was extremely outgoing and friendly--and the food was amazing! The kitchen/dining area is truly the 'heart' of the Inn. All the guests gathered there, relaxing, chatting and eating. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return during our next Maine trip.

This is the time of year to enjoy the peeping season and cozying up to a nice log fire. What a perfect choice we made to stay at this Inn. The breakfast was amazing along with the presentation. Our accommodations were very cozy with a private bath. The owner, Daryel, is very obliging for everyone's comfort and needs. He even provided the fleece blankets while we were sitting on his porch overlooking the mountains. The view is breathtaking! Our whole weekend experience was over the top! Will definitely return next year. Giovanna M.

This is a very beautiful property. It is set on top of a hill with views of the snow capped White Mountains, absolutely fantastic. I was researching the area, and saw the Inn. I asked for a tour and the delightful housekeeper was able to show the entire Inn except for one room, which was occupied. There are some smaller rooms, and some larger. However I was in love with the third floor which would make for wonderful adjoining suites. I wish that I could have enjoyed a meal, because there was a great kitchen, which could not help but produce great food. Truly a hidden treasure.

While the property was great and the food was alright, the owner Daryl was a total jerk and I would never recomend doing business with this guy. Made me feel like i was not important and that he was right, not the customer. Beware of doing business with this guy.

Our experiences (2 stays) at Greenwood Mountain Inn are just the thing to write home about. The owners and staff make you feel like they are there just to make your stay everything you want it to be. The rooms are clean and comfortable with magnificent views. The grounds are beautiflly planted and taken care of with a nice walking path through the flowers and woods. If you enjoy a good breakfast you must stay here for Daryl makes a breakfast to live for and this comes from a man who doesn't like to go out for breakfast because he usually gets a better one at home but if I lived within an hour of the Inn I would try to get Daryl to let me come for breakfast once a month.

I had never been to a B&B before and did not know what I was missing. The Inn itself was beautiful, but then you go outside and see the grounds, which are breathtaking. I loved the homey, casual atmosphere and enjoyed talking with Daryel, the Inn Keeper. Everything meal I had there was wonderful and I would recommend staying there to anyone that would like to experience a beautiful Inn with a wonderful staff.

Another unbelievable stay at the Greenwood Mountain Inn. Rob and Daryel pay attention to every detail in creating a memorable stay. From the beautiful house and glorious gardens blooming with color, to the delicious breakfast served at my convenience, my stay was PERFECT. Even enjoyed a soak in the private and perfectly heated hot tub. The scenery from the porch while enjoying my morning coffee and evening sunset meditation was breathtaking. I couldn't dream of a better or more comfortable inn. I'll be back!!! I PROMISE!!! MAINE AND THE GREENWOOD MOUNTAIN INN- THE WAY LIFE SHOULD BE!!!!

My family and I stayed at the Inn in May while visiting family. Daryl and Robert are the nicest innkeepers! We felt right at home. The breakfast was amazing, and we were offered cookies and treats at different times. The Inn is beautifully restored and very comfortable. I spent time having tea at the end of the day, rocking on the front porch, looking over a spacious field, while the sun was setting. Just incredible. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to friends.
