I booked a room at The Lodge on the Cove without knowing much about it other than it had an open room the night I needed one. As soon as I settled in, though, I asked if I might stay another night because this motel's chic, modern style and thoughtful details are right up my alley. Unfortunately, the hotel was...

Wonderful place for family's. Very kid friendly. The pool/clubhouse was awesome. They had lots of activities for the kids to do. Loved the poolbar/restaurant, was able to eat/drink at the pool. Located about 1 mile out of town. Service was terrific. Can't wait to go back!

My husband and I rarely get away since the birth of our 14 month old son. We came here when he was 6 months old and loved it....decided it was time to come again. I write this with much emotion so bear with me. When traveling with children there are so many factors to take into consideration. Will they sleep...

My family of four (kids ages 10,12) stayed one night in Kennebunkport as part of our coastal Maine vacation. I just happened to stumble upon this place online and what a fortuitous discovery! This place is clean, adorable, and has the feel of a 50's resort. The kids swam, we played ping pong, and even sat by a campfire that...

Stayed here for three nights with my husband and one of my kids. Had a terrific time. Perfect for families bc there is tons to do, but also great for those with discerning tastes. Hotel has been completely overhauled with a really funky aesthetic. Think Jonathan Adler meets Maine coastal chic with a little bit of kitsch added for fun....

My family and I stayed at the Lodge on the Cove for a couple of nights in early summer. The weather was still wavering between warm enough for laying on the beach and chilly. We loved everything about this sweet lodge immediately. The rooms are very well appointed with a nautical theme without being cheesy. The main buildings are beautiful...

The Lodge is wonderful. We had a wonderful time with friends, riding the complimentary bikes and sitting by the relaxing pool. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, including reservations, the front desk and the pool bar. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our family of 6 adults and four children had a marvelous time. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool setting allowed the adults to have adult drinks while watching the children swim. The children loved the fire pit, the nightly Smores, etc. We so appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs and the beach parking passes. The kids wanted...

Our stay at LoC was top-notch on every level! Beautiful grounds, adorable and spotless rooms, every convenience thought of. From a white noise machine and earplugs to a fridge and fabulous bath products, our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Breakfasts at the clubhouse were great (with plenty of gluten free options!), and lunch and dinner at The Dory were perfect....

Great for families. My kids loved all the games (cornhole, old fashioned board games, ping pong), evening smores by the bonfire, the pool. Updated, modern decor which seemed to be a rarity in the area. Very clean rooms. Beds were kind of uncomfortable and the hotel gives you ear plugs and a white-noise maker to contend with the fact that...
