We stayed at The Harbor Inn for two nights during our long-awaited first trip to Maine in September. We enjoyed our visit so much that we are already looking forward to the next time - not just to Maine or to Kennebunkport, but specifically to Harbor Inn. The inn is charming, conveniently located, and obviously a labor of love for Bill, who was an excellent host. He was meticulous about our room, gracious about parking our oversized vehicle, served up delicious breakfast sandwiches each morning (since the usual breakfast was not an option during COVID), and was a font of information about the area. We didn't take advantage of the bikes that were available and we skipped doing the sunset cruise, again because of COVID, but would love to do it another time. After being completely isolated for so many months during this pandemic, it meant a lot to us to be able to enjoy some engaging conversations on the outside porch and yard with him and the other guests who were there that weekend, with everyone mindful of the necessary precautions. Thanks so much for the great stay. Highly recommended!

This was a nice place to stay when you go to Kennebunkport, ME. Host was so hospitable and it feels like home away from home. Breakfast was awesome! It is tough to get reservations for the weekend during the peak season because of the great service, clean spaces, location to Dock Square and friendly environment. Will definitely be back.

We were greeted with a fire and bottle of pinot noir. The home is pristine. For those of you who worry about smells, this place smells brand new, no mildew or funky odors. Bill is a terrific cook and conversationalist. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Bill was an amazing host showcasing his beautiful Maine property! The location was optimal, the farm to table breakfast was delightful, amenities and feeling like you were staying in a home was far more than I expected. My daughter was graduating from college and he welcomed our group in as if we were family. Best place to stay in Kennebunkport!

Had a wonderful time. Beautiful Victorian style home. Our room on the 2nd floor, gravely brook, was spacious, bright and clean. Queen bed was very comfortable with 4 down pillows and bathroom was small but functional. Included toiletries and fluffy towels. Location was across street from Kennebunk River and halfway between shops and beach area, about .5 miles from both which was perfect for us. We walked or biked everywhere. Host was friendly and a great breakfast chef! Would recommend to anyone.

The Harbor Inn is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Kennebunport, A short 15 minute walk to Dock Square. Restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The Inn if far enough away to be a quiet place to relax on the front porch rockers. Full breakfast in the morning with fresh ingredients from the family farm. Very comfotable beds. A short drive to view Walker's Point. Bill and his mom were great hosts.

We stayed for two nights in September. The inn is lovely, full of antique furnishings. Our room (Gravelly Brook) was cozy and comfortable. There was a fireplace which I'm sure in the cooler months would add to the atmosphere of the room. Location

The innkeeper Mike was a wonderful host at this conveniently located B&B. The room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were great and varied, and Mike was very attentive and always there to help with luggage or info. We also really enjoyed the large front porch and the common areas of the house, and had some nice conversations with other guests.
We look forward to coming back again for another enjoyable stay!

Excellent value, location and service. Our room was spotless, comfortable and well appointed.

The inn is beautifully maintained, clean and welcoming. It’s close to town and the inn’s free bikes making getting around easy and remove the hassle of finding parking in crowded Kennebunkport.

Mike the innkeeper was friendly and informative.

We will be back.

We enjoyed our two night stay at this little B & B. It was located within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops, simple but very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the hot breakfast and the fire lit in the downstairs living room at night.

You can tell these guys are struggling a little bc of Covid 19 so giving them our business felt good. Bill - wishing you and your family a better 2021!

I am not able to book on any dates in December. Are you closed for the winter?
Answer from JassyAnn
Kennebunkport, Maine1 contribution
Hi Julie, The inn is only open for one more weekend (12/9-12/11) and then we will be closing down for the winter. We typically open back up in either April or May depending on how harsh of a winter we get. We do still have rooms available for this weekend if you are interested - and I checked on TripAdvisor that it does show the proper availability. If you have any additional questions please let me know. Thank You, Jassy Smith
