This B&B up on a hill, at just the right incline, just outside downtown (sic) Kingfield, Maine was a delightful place to stay. The host was solicitous but not invasive, friendly but not nosey. The fire in the living room was always stacked with dry wood -- ready to light and easy to keep burning. The breakfasts were nourishing and...

I appreciate your kind words written about my B&B and am so pleased to know that you enjoyed breakfast, the fire, and the location to Sugarloaf! I hope I'll see you back in soon. Best, Lisa

If you're looking for a luxurious mountain resort, this probably isn't for you. But if you appreciate rustic farmhouse charm, this is the perfect little bed and breakfast. Lisa, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. She makes a delicious breakfast every morning (you have a few different options to choose from, but her homemade granola is by far the...

Heather, So happy you appreciated my B&B! Knowing you enjoyed my homemade granola, the ambiance of the house and that you had a great time skiing and snowboarding is fantastic. I look forward to seeing you again next time you ski Sugarloaf. My best, Lisa Mountain Village Farm Bed & Breakfast

The Mountain Village Farm B&B was a wonderful experience! From the first delicious and oh-so-filling breakfast to the last lazy evening playing a board game by the fire, innkeeper Lisa and dogs Cisco and Skeeter ensured that we were welcomed, comfortable and taken care of. The room (#2) was cozy with a highly snooze-inducing bed and a nice bubbling tub,...

Thanks very much for your informative, positive and supportive review, Matt and Sally. I know you are well seasoned world travellers, which makes your appreciation of my farm b&b even more meaningful. It delighted me that you relaxed in the guest living room each night during your stay and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace, which makes the ambiance in...

When we arrived, Lisa asked me what I wanted, and I told her we had booked a room. She replied that was for last night, and just to show me how wrong I was she "invited" me into the kitchen where she turned on her computer and discovered that I had changed my reservation months ago and she had made...

I want to say emphatically... it is never my way to say "what do you want" to anyone who comes to my door. Besides the B&B, I sell eggs, flowers and herbs. I also have an art gallery and a barn event venue. People come to my door for lots of reasons and my standard greeting is to ask "how...

We stayed at this B&B on Thursday 2nd October, having read the reviews from Booking.com, and asked for a quiet en-suite room 3 months previously. The room we were given was over the guest lounge at the top of uncarpeted stairs which made for a noisy evening. Our en-suite turned out to be a bathroom outside our room at the...

When travellers arrive at a lodgings and feel unhappy with their reserved accommodation, it is best to inquire as to the possibility of another room. In this case, there were two unoccupied rooms with ensuite baths at the other end of the house . It is so unfortunate that this couple chose to suffer rather than speak up. I commend...

This is a quaint farmhouse B&B for people looking for character, nature and charm. Lisa was friendly and helpful with information about the area and a few things I needed. The breakfast was good and there were more than a few choices. If you are not into dogs or chickens, you best find another place - but if rustic is...

Caroline,I appreciate this review so much. There's nothing better than reading how much my guests enjoyed their stay. I'm glad you liked the rustic charm of my B&B, especially my animal friends. I'm also happy the room was to your liking and that you were pleased with the shower. While the living room has only two pronged outlets, I have...

While taking a break from thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, my two hiking companions and my dog and I spent nearly two weeks here! Lisa was an incredible woman. For the most part she runs the B&B herself while simultaneously taking care of her 30ish chickens, 2 dogs, a gorgeous garden, the farm land, as well as a growing musical venue...

My husband and I stayed at the Mountain Village Farm for the first few nights of our honeymoon. We enjoyed it a lot. Joanna, it's always a pleasure to hear that my guests were able to truly relax and enjoy the surroundings here on the farm.
