I stayed here last weekend on a bit of a whim, prior to getting in a warm April ski day at Sugarloaf. I booked a king room in the "house" (which seems well worth the modest premium over the barn). The room itself was satisfactory: the linens, towels, and toiletries were all hotel-quality, the fixtures were good, the wifi was good enough for Zoom calls, and I was surprised to see robes in the closet, nice touch. There was some dust around the edges but not anywhere you'd stick your face. The house itself is fun to walk through and there is a nice seating area outside where a friend met me to share some Champagne. John and Linda were both superb hosts; Linda tended to check-in, the bar, and the 2-table Italian restaurant. John (the owner) prepared food for the diners and made a nice pasta dish for me and my friend, which allowed us to remain outside on the porch all evening. The bar maintained a lively crowd and ambience later in the evening. Overall, a memorable evening that would otherwise have been spent in some crummy motel someplace. Will return.

John the Inn keeper is a wealth of information on the area! He also makes a good cocktail! The house is very historic. If you can get a room in that section it really takes you back in time. With Covid precautions dinners are in seperate dining rooms for each reservation. Very relaxing. We can't wait to return!

We had dinner and spent the night here after a fun adventure at nearby Sugarloaf mountain. It’s a classic style inn with an outstanding restaurant. We’re still in the days of COVID restrictions and the staff are doing a great job adhering to the rules. I highly recommend the Inn at Winter’s Hill.

This place has everything you could want, great food, fantastic service, friendly staff, clean comfy rooms and beautiful surroundings. The owner was so nice, everything we wanted he provided. We loved sitting at the bar in the evenings and mingling with locals and other guests. It’s like something straight out of a novel. Will definitely be back.

We just returned home from an amazing ski day at Sugarloaf. The skiing was phenomenal and the Inn was even better. Linda made the best drinks at the bar and the food was superb. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
