this is a locally owned motel which is superbly maintained and the price is right. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is not far from a very good restaurant to which the motel people directed us. The food there was very good.

There are many fantastic restaurants nearby and our staff knows the best ones to direct guests to. We upgrade the inn every winter and our guests always look forward to seeing what is new and improved each spring. We hope that you will visit us again!

Needed a place to stop over for one night, Coachman Inn was a good choice. Very quiet. Clean. Breakfast was a nice add on. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean. We noticed that many of the folks staying there were much older, if that matters to any.

Many of our guests are surprised and enjoy the choices we offer for breakfast at no additional cost. We hope to see you again if you travel through Kittery on another trip!

We booked a room here for one night on a trip to Kittery. The check in process was fast and the clerk hospitable, and she cheerfully made good restaurant suggestions for us. The lobby/breakfast area is bright and welcoming. Our room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Bed was very comfy. The decor is a bit old fashioned, but that's...

This hotel was just awesome... quaint, clean, affordable, and not part of a chain. Little things like a weather card under the door in the morning were the little extras that just made this a great stay. ... the heated pool was great for the kids - even on a chilly evening. ..

We are so happy that you enjoyed our family owned inn. Many guests enjoy the weather cards and they can help you plan your day, especially since weather in Maine is always changing. We hope to see you again soon.

We stopped here on a road trip and for the shopping. The location is perfect, front desk staff friendly. Quaint hotel and family room was great with the extra bed and two bathrooms. Breakfast was basic, but good enough. I think the rooms need a deep cleaning as the ledges and dividers in the room were sticky and very dusty....

The dividers have always been an issue in our Family Rooms. This winter we will be replacing them with something a bit more modern and easier to clean. The Inn was built in 1945 and every winter we do projects and upgrade. Last winter we put new carpets in that room and checked all of the floors. Guests love those...

Hotel a little too expensive, but cheaper than some. Pretty clean, but being an older hotel, has a musty old cigarette smell. Again, not as bad as some I've stayed in, in Maine! Breakfast, adequate. Good enough. A big plus is the rooms are huge! Fridge and microwave always make me happy. People that run it are super nice 😊...

The Coachman Inn is a non-smoking inn and the housekeepers do a wonderful job. We have an emergency exit that stays locked. We keep the door to the middle lobby unlocked and well lit for the convenience of our guests. We installed security cameras this past winter around the Coachman Inn to help keep our guests and employees safe.

Stayed here unexpected and this was a pure pleasure. From the cleanliness of the whole establishment to the hospitality of the staff we could not of asked for any better. Directly across from the outlet stores we were amazed as to the quietness of the location. No better way to top off a day of shopping but to go for...

So glad that you chose to stay with us and that we had a room available. A lot of our guests are surprised that the inn is so quiet even though it is right off of Route 1. Our pool closes after Labor Day and reopens around Memorial Day and the 80 degree water is great on those cool nights.

We stayed here for a weekend wedding in August. It was very clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Walking distance to the outlets and a big candy store is right next door!! The rate was over $200 a night, which seemed high - but we understand it was the peak season.

August is one of the busiest and most expensive months to travel in this area as it is the peak season and very busy. We try to stay competitive and keep well below the prices in Portsmouth and the beaches. We’d love to see you come back in the fall as the seacoast is a wonderful place to visit year...

My sister and I stayed here with our kids for a short vacation and it worked out great. The suite/family room was decent size, clean, two bathrooms. Location close to outlets but also close to the beach. Staff was friendly too.
