The hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was fresh and wonderful. They paid attention to all the little details and extras to make our stay stand out in a wonderful way. There is a trail and park with a big waterfall and river that you can enjoy right from the hotel. Our room overlooked the waterfall. It was a wonderful experience.

Overall a 9 out of 10. The only things I would suggest is Hot breakfasts like scrambled eggs and Bacon/sausage, or hot oatmeal. Also pay more attention to the dog services like doggie bags and empty the dog trash can. Overflowing for our 5 day stay Friday through Wednesday.

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving at 1 PM. The nice receptionist checked our reservation, took the card payment and issued the key cards, saying our room was ready. We carted our bags to one of the 2 elevators and up to the 3rd floor. #301 was spacious with a comfortable king, dresser with refrigerator, micro and medium sized TV(57 channels), desk with coffee maker and chair, easy chair and a fully outfitted bathroom(passive exhaust) with a large shower. Room WIFI was good as was the under window AC/heat and quick hot water. The 6 AM lobby breakfast was serviced and very complete with juice choices, fresh berries, bananas, hard boiled eggs, individually wrapped scrambled eggs with or without turkey sausage links, yogurt, cereals, hot oatmeal, English muffins, and mini pastries with coffee/tea. We used the large indoor pool next to the 6 station gym, walked to the Heritage Park and went ½ mile west to the Hannaford Supermarket. This is a beautiful new premium hotel with 90 rooms, friendly staff and quality breakfast, making a predictable and excellent stay at $153/night, one of the highest on our 50 day trip to New England.

I am not happy about a $75 "security deposit" that this hotel charged. I was not told on the phone when making the reservation about any $75 extra security deposit. The person who checked my family member in at the front desk spoke to me on the phone and he was not pleasant at all. I couldn't get anything in writing about what the criteria is for the $75 to be refunded. The "security deposit" isn't on my bill and there is nothing in writing about it. My family member was told about it as he was checking in and that it would take 5-7 business days to refund "if everything looks ok with the room". Who decides what "ok with the room" means if nothing is put in writing?

Dear Podalina, We are sorry to hear you are displeased with standard hotel practices that have been around for years. Hotels require at check in to supply a credit card to cover your room, tax and incidentals which for the possibility of charges to the room should they be a pet fee, phone calls or items from our suite shop. Your reservation was not made directly at the hotel by our local team and must have been taken by and offsite reservation agent from Hilton and we will share this feedback with them if they missed informing you. Many hotels range from $50-350 per stay as an incidental hold and when you check out it gets released back to the card holder. We communicated this with your son who was the guest staying and he was understanding of the policy and hope he enjoyed his stay with us despite the major power outages in the area. Thank you for giving us an opportunity on this platform to remind people when traveling, similar practices occur when you rental cars that there are incidental/security holds on methods of payment to protect the company should there be additional charges outside of the original booking. This hotel has a great location downtown within walking distance to restaurants, a park and a beautiful view of the city. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly and welcoming too. Complimentary breakfast was nice as I really enjoyed the lobby fireplace!

I stayed here for a work trip for 2 nights and it was the best hotel to stay in for my first ever trip to Maine. The staff was beyond friendly, the rooms were clean and organized. Although the rooms weren't as modern as other hotels, the rooms didn't feel outdated or dingy. I felt so comfortable. There is so much to do around the town and the surrounding area. It is absolutely beautiful. 10/10 recommend. Would stay again.

A well decorated clean room. Nice well trained staff. Great location. Nice amenities. Great breakfast buffet with fresh fruit. Well organized management. I was part of Gate1 tour and the hotel staff was ready for us. The coffee station and the cookies were a nice touch. The signs in the lobby welcoming the guests make the guests feel comfortable and welcomed.

Great room. However I stayed in room 206 which was on the major highway side and across the road from a parking garage and was VERY NOISY. just make sure to stay on the back parking lot side. Room service and breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything else was satisfactory.

Great pillows and air quality/temperature in room. In cold weather environments, it's so important not to have a room with dry heat that is damaging to one's respiratory system and can trigger illness. We stayed here for the 2nd night of our college tour of Maine (Colby, Bates, Bowdoin) and wish we stayed two nights. Right next door to Bates.

The Government per diem is offered at our hotel for work travel as long as you supply your federal or state government identification card at check in along with your work travel documents/orders. It is not always available, especially during peak demand dates or if the allotment of government travelers have already booked. You will need to call the hotel directly to inquire to see if the dates you are looking for are available.
Yes, your reservation is guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking and will honor a late arrival with no issues. We have a team member at our front desk 24 hours a day to assist whenever you arrive.
Thank you for your question about bringing Max. Unfortunately, we only allow animals that are able to be walked outdoors to go the bathroom and do not allow litter boxes in our rooms. We hope you will still come and find other arrangements for Max. There are many local Kennels you could put him in.

The hotel is a few miles away, 3 minute car ride and we would recommend a local taxi service to get to and from Bates College due to busy roads in our downtown location. Uber is still newer in our area and mostly available in the evenings.
There are more places to choose from in the Lewiston area.
