We were in town for a walk around Bates. We wanted to stay in Lewiston and walkable to the college rather than in the big box inns across the river. We stayed in their downstairs family suite. We’ve had mixed experiences with BnB-type places, but this was great. Clean, spacious, quiet room with an electronic-locking hotel-style door. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, modern bathroom in the room, and WiFi. I’m the morning coffee pods were ready to go. For dinner walk down through the park into a downtown that’s trying to revitalize, to the Mill District which serves as a hub for the city’s efforts to start a new chapter. You’ll find restaurants, a brew pub, and a new feel. Great stay and a cool location in the old part of town.

Comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious bedrooms and bathroom, in a lovely home across the street from a large park. Convenient location near restaurants, pubs, and Bates College. Although meals were not allowed to be served due to Covid 19, snacks, drinks and board games were available at all times to be taken back to the rooms.

I had the good fortune to discover the Agora this winter. Billie-Jayne and her husband were welcoming and warm and did everything to make sure my stay was perfect, including play dates with my dog and theirs and a bottle of wine to welcome me when I arrived. Thank you! xoxo

Billie-Jayne was a great host. She was very flexible when we asked to move our booking from one weekend to a different one. She welcomed us upon arrival and our room was ready right on time. While in the center of Lewiston, Inn at the Agora was in a very quiet part of the town and we were not bothered by traffic noises. Because of Covid we weren't able to enjoy much of the living spaces within the building but hopefully in the future we will see more of the beautiful old house!

The room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Nice view of the nearby park. An easy chair would have been a plus. The outside of the Inn and the reception area need some attention. Public rooms could not be open due to Covid19.
