I probably had high expectations because of the Ramada label and the nice photos on their website. Unfortunately, there are a few areas in the hotel that are less glamourous, feel old and there were some wear and tear in our room.

In addition, the roll of toilet paper was almost done at our arrival (we had to ask for more at the reception). There was a coffee machine but no coffee (we had to ask for it). The cleaners skipped our room, so the garbage cans were not emptied during our 4-night stay (my partner did that himself a few times).

The dinner we had there the first night was good, but there was no ambiance. There was no music and only two other clients (a local couple) who were sitting at the bar, talking and joking with the bartender. At least, the server was nice and the weekend buffet for breakfast was very good.

Stayed there Aug 23rd 2021, Location is great, outside looks nice. Upon check-in I was asked to change room because they were overbooked, I did not object, but was charged the same price for a smaller room. The room seemed adequate at first. Then lied on the bed and saw that the ceiling's popcorn texture was hanging down and looked like it was about to fall on us (luckily it did not). The AC was loud, the bathroom was small and the caulking was disgusting, There was a large hair-ball on the carpet, previous guest must have done some serious manscaping, so obviously has not been vacuumed. There was food remnants on the table, so obviously the table had not been cleaned. Very disappointed, not worth the price.

PSA- When there us a notice in the lobby on how to work the showers....
Pros: Bed was clean, mattress was comfortable. Shower was hot, strong and clean albeit outdated.
Cons: Room had obviously not been vacuumed, someone else's towell was still hanging on the bathroom door. Room was very small and outdated. Restaurant, gym, pool and hot tub were "out of order/being remodeled". Room was 55 degrees in January as heat was OFF. Took hours to get room temp to comfortable. Front desk couldn't provide a plastic fork anywhere....how then did they serve breakfast the next day (we didn't stay to find out). Coffee pot was DIRTY with legit debris inside it.
Bottom line, if you're not picky and just need a place to crash for a night, ok, but def not a quality place to stay.

This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed to say the least. My husband and I travel a lot for we both work on the road. At the end of the day we are exhausted and just wanting some comforts such as a clean room a hot shower and some good food. I don’t really know what exactly is going on in this inn but it appears to me that the family running it lives in the rooms upstairs to start. Many of the staff are extremely rude especially to women and if you dare question anything. Also be prepared to do your own housekeeping bring your own cleaners and such. Housekeeping will not accommodate you in any way! I had to change my own sheets, sneak my own towels and toilettries. The one day we asked for housekeeping the older couple got aggressive and nasty with me. The staff barely speaks any English so alot of misunderstandings happen. The place is very run down and in need of repairs, the whole place stinks, the pool is almost never up and running, laundry room has been closed, restaurant that is connected to the inn is shut down, breakfast consists of breads and jelly only and you can only take one piece there is a sign stating basically not to be greedy others have to eat. In fact there are rude signs that are assuming all over the place. There are a few staff who don’t have hospitality at all and act superior to paying clients. My husband and I stayed one too many times and this is our 3rd week staying but needless to say they obviously do not want our money so we will be taking it elsewhere. Stay humble family Ramada inn from India, what you give you receive back 100 fold!

After checking in you pass a barren landscape of cracked pavement and dead plants with people just camped out by the doors smoking or hanging out.

The long hallways with well worn carpets are extremely dark and you don't feel safe here. There is a strong musty/mildew smell in the hall, maybe due to the moisture from the pool or lack of HVAC.

The intricately carved wood doors to the rooms are the best feature of the hotel. The key cards didn't work at first, and we had to get another set. Ice machine was also broken.

From the outside I would have expected the inside to be a bare mattress on fhe floor. But the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC, TV, fridge, and most of the lights worked. Clean (8 grit) towels, and there was hot water and decent pressure. Wifi worked fine.

Overall this hotel needs a ton of work, or should rent itself as a horror movie set. For starters the unsafe dimly lit halls and moldy smell should be addressed asap. Smoking areas moved away from the main entry doors. The key cards fixed to work consistently. And the exterior patched up to look reasonably cared for.

I get the impression that there is either no budget or incentive to improve this place, and without an intervention it will eventually be rubble. A convenient location is not enough for me to ever stay here again.

Despite stopping at desk and numerous calls from myself as well as the booking agency, I continued to get daily charges on my card for days after I checked out! No charges should have been made to my card whether or not I checked out because it was already paid for by the booking agency.
Room smelled bad.
Shower control was broken.
Light from some kind of sensor flashed bright light over my bed all day and night.
Breakfast should not be called breakfast, just white bread, tiny muffins and weak coffee.
Desk staff did not know how the TV operated. Some didn’t speak English.
Restaurant should not be featured on website since it was closed years ago.

Once we entered the room, the beds were dirty and the flush leaked water all the time. We took a second room, No. 151, and the conditions were again unacceptable: the bed was even dirtier, with stains in the sheets, and the mirror in the closet was broken. While we were making the complaints, other three different guests made complaints and left the room they booked. It is indeed impossible to sleep in a place in this condition. We left.

We called ahead of time on the day of arrival to confirm that there was a working hot tub at the hotel before booking the hotel room.  The person working the front desk said that they did have one and it was working.   Upon arrival the outside of the hotel looked abandoned, overgrown weeds and no cars. Thehallways were dirty and smelled like rotten eggs.  The rooms were not clean (crumbs on the floor, cracks on the walls and ceilings).  We ventured down to the pool area to find the area smelling of urine.  The hot tub was not full or operational and the water was yellow.  Attempted to shower but the tub area was raining ants from the ceiling from the humidity of the water.

Spoke with a different gentleman on the morning of our departure asking for the manager's name and was refused the information.  He stated he was new and didn't have that information.
I would not recommend staying here at all.

This is the absolute most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at! Do not reserve a room here. They give you 20 minutes to back out of your reservation after you check in. I have never had a hotel have this rule posted- but there is a reason for that rule! They advertise breakfast but allow you to have one piece of bread and one muffin. Had to switch room four times in two nights. Ramada needs to pull license for this hotel. Do not use pool or hot tub- very gross. Rooms are dirty, place stinks.

I booked two rooms at this hotel 8 months ago in order to attend my godson's graduation at nearby Bates College. His entire family are traveling with me from Idaho for this incredibly important occasion as their oldest son will be the first in the family to graduate college. The family has never seen the campus because they could not afford to travel there over the four years their son has been a student. As you can imagine, their excitement for this very significant event has been over the top! Just today, 8 months after making the reservation, and a mere two weeks before we are due to arrive, the hotel calls me to cancel the reservation because of mysterious "repairs' being made to the hotel. Ramada made no attempt to re-book us at another location, offer any type of peace keeping compensation or any consideration whatsoever for the inconvenience they've caused. Keeping in mind that graduation is over Memorial Day weekend and thousands of families will be in town for graduation and other celebrations for this major holiday, it's just inconceivable that Ramada could be this cavalier in the treatment of their guests and customers. What's worse: the hapless fellow from Ramada tasked with making the call, had the nerve to say that Ramada was calling out of "courtesy" and not waiting until we arrived at the property to break the bad news! Disingenuous at best, outrageous for sure. I will never ever book a room at a Ramada property anywhere, ever!
