Our stay at the Inn was incredible. My husband and I stayed here on our way to Acadia National Park. The room was very spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and had great recommendations for a rainy day. The coffee was great and the pool/hot tub area was even better! I highly recommend a stay here, we will likely return in the future!

A beautifully landscaped inn overlooking Penobscot Bay. Strategically placed lawn furniture along the shoreline allow you to take in breathtaking views of the bay without being in close proximity to other guests. Our room and hotel common areas were always immaculate. A nice selection of items offered for breakfast from eggs any style to lox and bagels. Coffee is ready at 7:00 am near the dining area, for early risers. Freshly baked cookies can be found in the same spot as the coffee later in the morning. The Inn is located just minutes from Camden with its many shops and eateries. There are two seafood restaurants within a couple miles of the inn a little further north on Route 1 set right on the water. There is an infinity pool and hot tub down at the pool house with lots of fresh towels and lounge chairs to relax in, after your swim. Gas fireplaces in the rooms make for a nice romantic touch while gazing out your window at the bay. Staff is friendly and courteous, and always ready to help. So if your looking for that quiet, attention to detail inn, then give the Inn at Oceans Edge a try. Worth every penny.

My husband and I stayed in the Poolhouse Suite overlooking the infinity pool and hot tub. The suite was so unique, spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean and perfectly manicured grounds. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The breakfast offered every morning as part of our stay was great. Plenty of options to choose from and always good. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

We stayed here for just one night but it was lovely. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and the infinity pool that appears to be spilling into Penobscot Bay makes quite a statement. Our room (A2) was very spacious with a view of the pool and the ocean and had a gas fireplace which we turned on after dinner. The breakfast was included and there were lots of options including omelets, fresh fruit, and bagels and lox. We were only in the area less than 24 hours but we did two hikes. The first, Mt. Batte, is a just over one-mile round trip hike that was very steep and treacherous, but resulted in spectacular views of Camden Harbor. I’m glad I did the hike but I wouldn’t do it again. Instead, I would take the carriage trail, a 2.4-mile round trip hike along the auto road, which I understand is much more manageable. Maiden Cliff, our second hike, is a 1.7 round trip hike, with views of Megunticook Lake at the top. This hike I would highly recommend. The views of the lake were spectacular and, while it is steep in parts, it doesn’t have the rock face of the Mt. Batte trail. We had dinner our only night there at Franny’s Bistro in downtown Camden which was amazing. We had the entree specials, halibut and swordfish, which were approximately $30 each. My swordfish, for example, came with salsa verde, a grilled avocado, and coconut rice and the flavors were just perfect. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside, and it was lovely. Note: we were originally seated at a high top table that was very close to the restroom. When we asked to move, they were very gracious about it.
