My husband and I stole away to this little motel for our anniversary over the summer. We read a glowing recommendation in DownEast magazine and decided to give it a try. It was cute! The weather was dreary, so we didn't get to appreciate the view. However, it was the perfect place to play Scrabble, listen to records and enjoy...

Beautiful spot! Nicely updated & friendly staff. Being their first season and working on the fine tuning, they are definitely on the right path. I can't say enough...comforting, relaxing, & good for the soul.

What a lovely spot! It was simple and spare, inspired by Scandinavian design. I felt like I was stepping into a peaceful retreat from the chaotic world. The room was small, true, but it put me in a meditative state. The public space is lovely and Alice, the proprietor, encouraged us to use it for our take-out dinner...providing china and...

My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon cottage for just one night and wished we could have stayed longer but the motel was sold out for the weekend. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the cottages are uniquely decorated to keep the original feel of the period they were built in but with some modern touches added like the...

I love what the owner Alice has done here! Focus on comfy beds with good linens, and a clean aesthetic. Good coffee! Record players in the rooms with a record library centrally located! Fine selection of art books also in main building. Great art on the walls (available for purchase through lical Rockland gallery Dowling Walsh). Fair pricing too. Alice...

This little motel has had a slight facelift, but they have a long way to go to finish. I cannot recommend this place. Seems like the new owner put all her money into the reception area and common rooms and didn’t have anything left over for anything else. We loved hanging out in the common area to play cards and...

We wanted to spend a night in Camden on the way to Acadia National Park, as we usually just breeze on through. I was looking for something simple, clean, but unique and Lincolnville Motel was just the thing. I've stayed at roadside motels that were ... in real need of an update. Well, Lincolnville Motel has had the update! No...

The best motel in the area ! The room decor is minimalist but comfy, the matress is super-comfortable. The common areas are magic, with the sunny coffe/tea room and the wonderful cozy library. The owner is always on the place, and you can ask her anything you need to know about the area, she'll know what to suggest you for...

We were looking for a special place that satisfied our love for design and character without sacrificing practicality and convenience for our 2-year-old. The Lincolnville Motel fit the bill! The location is perfectly convenient between Belfast and Camden, the view is lovely, and the rooms are interesting. We all loved dancing to Dolly Parton and Elvis Costello on the record...

I loved this place. The cabins are cute and cosy with private decks looking down to the sea over meadow and you are surrounded by forest on both sides. The interior décor is fabulous - I could easily have spent a week here but sadly had to keep moving. Also very friendly staff. This would make a nice low cost...
