We neeed a stop for the night. I think $90 is a bit pricey for a quick stop. No ocean view, but the grounds were really pretty. Just off the Coast highway 1, so a bit of traffic. We were there in mid-September...I would think in "the season", the traffic would be a real concern...noise and for children. Room was...

Friendly owners, absolutely IMMACULATE (as usual), no pretentions, good value. Best bed on the trip. Excellently placed if you are taking the Lincolnville-Isleboro ferry, or if heading further north to Searsport, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park or Campabello

I booked this hotel with my family for a quick getaway to Maine in July. The room was very clean and the owners were beyond friendly and welcoming. We stayed here for three nights and fell in love with the area. Would definitely recommend to others and stay here again.

We spent 4 days here as a base to explore the area. Property is exactly as advertised. Perfectly kept and spotlessly clean. Rooms are simple but comfortable and owners are fantastic. Great location close to Camden and <2 hrs from Acadia/Bar Harbor. Neat little rocky beach just a few minutes walk. This place is a great property at a great...

My wife and I just had a wonderful 3 days here. The inn keepers, Rick and Elaine who are also the owners, really made us feel welcome. The suite room is extra spacious and the other adjoining suite room where our friends stayed is even bigger. Both rooms were very clean and comfy. Aside for the beautiful grounds, there is...

This could have been a much better review were it not for the subborness of the owners. PROS: Rick & Elaine, a husband and wife team, do all the work - cleaning, maintenance, bed changing, landscaping etc. The grounds are beautiful, the area is quiet and the rooms are clean. CONS: No extras - one small wastebasket (none in bathroom),...

My wife and I stayed at the DT motel over the Christmas holiday and Rick and Elaine couldn't have been more accomodating. We arrived rather late on Christmas eve and they turned the lights and heat on in our room for us so we could arrive in comfort. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. This...

This is a wonderful family owned and run motel. You will feel like you are staying in someone's guest room The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The motel is very conveniently located in Lincolnville and just a short drive to Belfast or Camden. You will be glad you chose the Ducktrap.
