This was great, we got to the motel late (4:00 am)and jane let us stay for a little longer after checkout so we could get some sleep before we left back to MA! The room was nice and clean as well. I will definetly stay here again when I come back down to Maine!

Wonderful hotel at a cheap price, they have a kitchen unit, microwave, coffeemaker, Kettle with all the things you need to cook. If you are in a bigger group, the rooms can be made inter-connected, which I believe is a great deal. Neat stuffs. Very helpful and informative host. I am coming back again.

Close to UM at Orono, perfect place to stay for homecoming weekend. Hotel is older, but incredibly clean and well kept up. We arrived at night, and owner brought us a large flashlight so we could see off balcony at river below. Parking lot needs repairing, but they are probably waiting for local roadwork to be completed.

Nice clean motel on the river. A little dated but nice. Room has a small balcony over looking the river. Very nice. Small kitchenette area and shower head with plenty of pressure. Very friendly and accomandating staff.

Great location for accessing rural Maine along the Penobscot river. Cook breakfast early and get out to see the countryside. As a business traveler it was nice to have a river rather that a freeway nearby.

We arrived around 10 but was able to check in and get our room easily. We booked on Priceline and the inn keeper called and made sure our room was acceptable. The room was very large with stove, refrigerator and table. The room was outdated but overall clean. We used the room as a place to sleep and a quick...

This was our first visit to Maine, and our objective was to settle our only son at the university of Maine. We were looking for a place which was close to the university and which had a small kitchen area as we prefer cooking our food due health related issues. On reaching the place we found the place to be...

Very nice rooms, clean and comfortable. The owners are great and the view is awesome. Close to Bangor and about an hour from Acadia National Park. Great hotel for the price. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to retuning in the future! Thanks Jayne Zeitlin!

A delightful place. It is in the middle of a residential district . We had our doubts when we first saw it but once inside it is delightful. Large room with two burner stove and a kitchen sink. Both spotlessly clean. There is a little fridge and microwave and table and chairs. Beds very comfy and all is very clean....
