A Day Well Spent wrote a review Nov. 2020

We spent 4 nights here in October, 2020. It was not enough time to get to explore all the surrounding area. Love how quiet the campground is, all the trees around each sight, the immaculate bathrooms and the friendly people who worked at the here made our stay outstanding. If you have ever considered visiting this area of Maine, you will love it here. There are posts on our facebook page," A Day Well" Spent on some of the things we did while staying here. We still have a lot more we want to go back to see and do. Thanks for a great stay! Gina

Appropriately named park. It is at the wilderness edge. It is a beautiful park in a beautiful area. We loved all the hiking and scenery opportunities in that area. Marcel and Wendy were awesome, and made sure we had what we needed. If you are looking for a place to go on the Internet or watch television this probably isn't it. If you are looking for wilderness and raw nature, this is the place! We highly recommend wilderness edge.

We stayed 4 days at Wilderness Edge and absolutely loved it! The sites are well equipped and you have plenty of room. The showers are sparkling clean with ample water pressure and hot water. The location is ideal for day trips into Baxter State Park (which is what we did), and close to town for food and supplies. We will definitely return.

We really liked the well spaced campsites. We were able to camp next to our friends who had a camper. It was very convenient and private. The tent sites on the other side of the campground looked really nice too. Bathrooms were very clean and the sites well maintained. I would stay there again. It worked perfectly for day trips to Baxter.
