Sarah Diment, the owner of the Beachmere, is the driving force behind the wonderful experience of staying at the Inn. We have been visiting with Sarah and her staff twice a year for about 35 years. Our visits have never ceased to improve. The West Wing rooms are our favorite.

Being in the 50-60 years old travelers, we appreciate when a popular destination is not too crowded. Our stay at the beachmere Inn was correct. Some renovation would put this resort on my top list in the future. But still, we enjoyed our stay. We spent 4 nights. It was our fo

Have visited here off and on since 1979. Love the Victorian house and stayed in room #9 this time. This room is actually incorporated into the old foundation granite boulders and is the size of a small suite with bedroom kitchen bathroom and lounge all flowing in a unique confi

Hello Albert B, Thank you for your review and there is nothing better than to hear from one of our many repeat guests. It is so nice to hear that you still love the Beachmere as all of us do who are lucky enough to come to work here every day. I completely agree with you comments about room 9, it is so unique and adds to the feel of the history of the Beachmere. We love to be able to offer our guests the luxury of a room breakfast delivery on a cold crisp winter morning, As you know our lobster pot Christmas tree is one of the highlights of a Marginal Way winter stroll. I hope to see you soon, maybe enjoying one of the amazing Holiday cocktails that we offer in the Blue Bistro. Happy Holidays from the Beachmere Team!

We had a wonderful stay in the Victorian section of the hotel - enjoying the gas fireplace, radiant heated floors, comfortable mattress and plenty of towels in the double vanity bathroom. Located right on the Marginal Way - a beautiful walk to Perkins Cove. A generous breakfast

Dear LeemP1214PD I'm so pleased you enjoyed a stay here in Ogunquit and at our Inn for your boyfriends birthday. It sounds like you stayed in our Terrace rooms, those floors are heavenly! We hope you can return someday soon, perhaps to snowshoe the Marginal Way? Until then, winter well and Happy Holidays. Sarah Diment

We will be staying here for the first time celebrating our anniversary for 3 nights . Do you have any dinner recommendations? Thank you!
We quite like Robertos for Italian but go early as it can get noisy later. If you like Indian cuisine Tulsi North in Wells has a small menu but everything is excellent. A good friend of mine swears by The Old Village Inn and goes every year. We found Barnacle Billy's great for lobster rolls but not much else. Barnacle Billy's Too just next door was not great. Have a lovely time.

Please share review for staying in Bullfrog building in summer season
Great location. Big and airy. The property all around the Beachmere is so beautiful and scenic. You can walk to anything that you need from there. Just park your car and enjoy your vacation.

Are children allowed? (11 year old)
Absolutely! As mentioned above, we do not have a pool, but our beach is sandy at low tide (rocky at high) which is at the bottom of our lawn. We have a lot of families and always welcome them to our property. ~ Sarah Diment, Owner (Beachmere Inn)
