I have never been so disappointed in a hotel than I was with the Betty Doon. First, we ended up with a room beneath the souvenir shop and I knew immediately that I did not want the room but management was unwilling/unable to switch us to another room. There is nothing "quaint" about mold in the bathroom and squishy carpeting....

First off let me say I was scared to death when I made my reservation and there were not any reviews in about a year. With the expensive prices in ogunquit this weekend and all we needed was a bed to sleep in I thought I would give it a try. Next let me say it depends on a person's...

First time ever staying at the Betty Doon Motor Hotel and it was great! Our room was perfect for the 4 of us. I loved that there was a door in between the two bedrooms and that we had separate entrances. Not all rooms are like that but we specifically asked for something like that and it met our needs...

I chose this motel because I wanted to be able to walk to the beach and to the bars around Ogunquit. It did not disappoint on that score. The motel itself is a throw-back to the 1950s with knotty pine throughout -- felt like I was at a lake-side camp in Maine, and that was OK. It would NOT appeal...

A quaint place to stay where your centrally located where everything is. The beach is right down the street. The restaurant and bars are literally all across the way. If your looking for a place to sleep at night and enjoy the beach and nightlife of Ogunquit then the Betty Doon is for you.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights last June. (Forgot to review at the time.) we didn't have any issues...the staff were fine, we had our parking spot, the room was clean yet dated, but who cares! For the price, you can't complain. The location is perfect! We had a great time...its Ogunquit after all!!

The Betty Doon Hotel was a quaint, family run establishment in the center of Ogundquit. The beach is a 5 minute walk, as well as several great bars & restaurants. The room had a lodge feel and was an adequate choice for an overnight getaway in this seaside haven.

great place to stay, right in the center of everything in Ogunquit... step outside and shop. The owner makes home made muffins and coffee to enjoy in the morning. The room we stayed in was very clean and we had ample room. Staff was friendly and made our stay great.

I had a great one night stay in June. Matthew at the front desk was very accommodating at check in and all the staff were accommodating and helpful throughout my stay. The room on the top floor was bright, clean and well decorated. This is a great place to stay when visiting Ogunquit. The location and value can't be beat.

We arrived early on a Saturday afternoon in Sept. for a weekend getaway, room was sufficient for our needs, keep in mind this is not a luxury property, nor is it part of a chain, it's reminiscent of a beach house, so it isn't super spacious, but it IS a very cozy & romantic spot, and you simply cannot get...
