We decided to take an impromptu visit to the Maine coast. The Hartwell House was recommended to us as a lovely centrally located imbed and breakfast. That it is. The hosts are extremely nice and informative. The rooms that we viewed are simply lovely and filled with history. There are first floor rooms for those who have issues with stairs....

IAs the social director of our travel group, I look for certain criteria before booking an Inn. This Inn checked off all the boxes: everyone housed in the same Inn, delicious breakfast served to all, a place for all of us to gather anytime of the day or night, coffee available 24 hours, in a walkable area. In addition to...

Another awesome girls getaway this past weekend at the Hartwell House in Ogunquit Maine. We've already planned our next two, so Charlene and Eric must be doing something right. Of course they are.....the food is spectacular and plentiful, the rooms impressive, especially the Polly Reed room with the amazing whirlpool tub. Can't leave out the great location halfway between downtown...

I love being in Ogunquit, which is also known as "The Beautiful Place By The Sea", and I wanted to celebrate my 64th birthday there this weekend. Even though the weather was not yet spring-like, the nearby Marginal Way and the local beach are spectacular in any season. Once again, we chose to stay at the Hartwell House, and once...

Thank you for being such a loyal guest to the Hartwell House Inn - and for always taking the time to share your experience with others looking to visiting the Ogunquit area! -- The breakfast theme was Maine Maple Sunday and my favorite delicacies were the following: Maine Maple Ham and Cheddar Cheese Omelet; Applewood Bacon Flavored with Maple Syrup...

We celebrated my husband's 40th bday and couldn't have been any more happier with Hartwell house Inn. The innkeepers were thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast was delicious, and they give you at least 3 options to choose from. We stayed in the Newport room which was a large deluxe room. It was beautiful and very clean! The streetlights were a...

The innkeepers Eric and Charlene take care of your every need, from the moment you arrive for afternoon tea, through restaurant recommendations, then a delightful gourmet breakfast on site the following morning. Rooms are well-appointed. A terrific getaway coastal inn.

We've recently returned from another stay at Ogunquit's Hartwell House and it was just as relaxing and fun as all the others. Charlene & Eric are spectacular innkeepers and the rest of the staff (Natalia and Linda) are wonderful. Perfect location, matchless breakfasts, comfortable rooms -- it's always a pleasure to stay.

Another outstanding visit to our #1 New England destination. Our host Charlene and Eric's attention to details from a personal note in our beautifully decorated room to a delicious breakfast ( pumpkin pancakes) to dinner reservations made during our relaxing New Year's visit. Already looking forward to a return visit in 2017.

We recently treated ourselves to a quick pre-Christmas get-away at our favorite B&B in Ogunquit.
