A terrific motel literally just steps from the beach. I stayed mid-week in the summer, and had a beautiful suite with a nice hot tub. The room was clean and the facility was quiet, aside from passing traffic on Grand Ave, and the early morning trains passing by. This was my first motel stay since COVID-19 hit, and The Biarritz was especially vigilant with their social distancing, cleaning and safety protocols. I was especially grateful for that. I will definitely be staying here again soon.
Immaculate rooms. Everything you need for an outstanding visit. Walk across the street to beach, fantastic hosts, so warm, friendly and accommodating. Close to center. Love that the room is somewhat divided with two rooms,1 bed in Each for those with different sleeping habits. Will definitely be back.
No disappointment here. Nice clean room. We got the "Green Room" Which was a large (green)Jacuzzi in a room. With a TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, dining table etc. With a separate bedroom. Very friendly and accommodating owners. Nice large CLEAN heated in-ground pool. Parking is tight, but that's anywhere in the center of town, near the famous peer. For the money this was much nicer than one of the finest B & B in the area. which hand no amenities for almost double the price. No its not the Ritz. But its clean comfortable and in walking distance to everything. Across the street to the beach and minutes to the amusement park and OOB Peer. reserve early because this place sells out before the first of the year at times.
Upon arrival, the town is family friendly and the owners super friendly. The room was clean and suited our family space-wise. We found great family restaurants and enjoyed the beach and pier with rides for kids. We stay in oob every summer but our usual accommodations had no vacancies. Then came bedtime! Sign says quiet time 11-8 so I expected noise til 11. At 1:30 the folks beside us and above us arrived together with loud blasting music, stomping, and partying. They continually passed by our window yelling obscenities because I asked politely if they’d keep it down as we had young children. These were older freakish adults, not kids. It continually got worse until at 3 am when the train went through horn and all, then again at 5 and 7! By 7 we’d had enough and packed up and left, even though I’d paid 1000 to stay here for 4 days! Found another place up the road that had availability, was on the other side of the road and had no train noise. It was all families like mine with no obvious partying and drug use. I liked the owners and the room but could not tolerate the train or the late night crowd. How other families could tolerate this is beyond me. We are a chill and tolerant family and I have never ever complained or left before but this was just unbelievable.…
I read the reviews, most complain about the train. It is Old Orchard Beach, the train runs right throguh town so no matter where you go you hear it. This motel is the best on the strip due to the owners. This is my families 3rd year straight and although we have options, the Biaritz wins our annual stay. The owners are fantastic, like your own family. Rooms are clean. Location is perfect. Size and accommodations are just what you need for the area. Everything is such well kept. The pools, rooms and even parking lot is swept daily. We highly recommend to anyone. Thanks again guys, see you next year!
