We have camped at many places and by far this is the best! If u want a fun relaxing time this is the place. The owner's will go out of there way to help u enjoy ur time while ur there! To top it off this summer our family enjoyed a beautiful wedding reception that they were great in accommodating!...

I have stayed at this Camp for a few weeks every year, for three or four years now. The owners are always trying to add more, makeing the stay better and more enjoyable. This year they started offering horse riding lessons, and they have a candy/ice cream area, next to the camps kitchen and pavilion. Balsam Cove is as advertized,...

Balsam Cove is an "Awesome Family Campground". We stayed there 4 weeks having ice cream every night from their ice cream trailer. Picked wild raspberries. Watched the kids (ages 1 - 80) having fun on the weekend hay rides. The location is close to everything (groceries, hardware, vet, restaurants, post office, etc., etc.). The owners and staff were always helpful...

This was our first summer at Balsam Cove. We stayed for two weeks in May, than another two weeks in June and we have not left yet...we decided to stay the summer. Our children have enjoyed themselves more at this campground than they have at any other. The owners are very pleasant and go out of their way to make...

We love staying a week every season at Balsam Cove Campground. It's location is convenient to everything and there is plenty to do right at the campground! They offer a HUGE Bonfire every Saturday night for all the campground, hay rides for the kids and put on special events like "Christmas in July" for guests to decorate their site and...

This is a great family campground but when we had something stolen the owners were very negative about helping us out. They said that the contract said that they were not "responsible" for anything that happened there. We had a public business for over 25 yrs. and had signs and "contracts" that said "not responsible", etc. but we always tried...

So sorry you feel that way Marcia. As for any of our campers, seasonal or day use. The campground is not responsible for damage or loss to personal property. We have owned the campground 6 years/ 7 seasons and have never had any incidents of stolen property. Campers leave all their belongings here even when going away for weeks at...

We stayed here last summer and had a great time! We rented two sites one for tents and one for our camper and came in with our family and had a great time. We rented a double kayak while we were there and everyone got to take turns using it. Also my 8 year old daughter loved the tractor that...

I can't explain how much I love this campground. The location is perfect whether you're trying to just get away or go out for a weekend or so with the family. There's a lake and a little beach shore with playground, they have bonfires every saturday. They're very happy here and the owners are constantly working to please you and...
