This weekend was the 6th Annual Loosey Goosey Quilters' Getaway Weekend at Alamoosook Lakeside Inn. The accommodations are great for us. This year there were 13 of us who took over the inn. The large dining room with windows on three sides was ideal for us to set up our sewing machines. The food did not disappoint us and the...

We spent 3 nights here. What a perfect setting to relax and unwind. The innkeeper, Gina, has invested 15 years in renovations and keeping the grounds pristine. We especially liked the variety of kayaks and canoes available to tour this gorgeous lake, and the clean, quiet rooms. Other guests were very friendly and polite. This venue is perfect for couples,...

Very nice b&b. The location is superb, rooms are small, but comfortable. Owner is lovely lady, very helpful, makes a delicious breakfast every morning. Noise insulation is not present there but... Who cares!

A warm and hospitable inn on a beautiful lake. I've stayed here twice. It's enchanting; the perfect place for a get away Downeast. Gina is a wonderful and helpful hostess. She is eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm about the beautiful corner of the world. Handicapped accessible, clean, respectful of the environment and non-smoking. A wonderful place to which...

The Alamoosook Lakeside Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. We love the fall and got married in early October outside by the lake and it was beautiful! The grounds and the Inn are well-maintained, and has lots of great locations for photos. The food was fantastic and there was a good variety of options to select from. Gina,...

This Inn has less then 10 hours rooms, it's clean, quiet with an amazing lake front area to sit back and unwind. The all wood interior looks to be as pristine as it was 50 years ago. Breakfast was included with the price, it was a nice breakfast but a little sparse with the portions sizes for the eggs. Regardless...

We had a WONDERFUL wedding at the Alamoosook Lakeside Inn and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. Gina was so helpful and everything ran smoothly, despite the fact that we were planning everything from out of state. All of our guests remarked at the beautiful setting, and they loved that they could take the kayaks out...

In the past few years 10 of our family members (in 4 families) have stayed here and loved it. Some have come several times, and that includes this year. Both the children and those in their late 80's enjoy it. It's a beautiful setting with boats and swimming and a game room with hand painted murals. The bedrooms are charmingly...

ROOM - while the inn location us great, its tiny rooms have no view. The front window of your room opens into the corridor: how would you like guests and staff walking back and forth look at you in bed? The back window, facing the parking lot is sealed and most of it is taken up by an ancient a/c...

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for two nights. The lake is stunning and swimming, kayaks and canoeing are right at your door step. Gina is a gracious host and the breakfasts were excellent. The location is perfect for feeling out of town but a short drive to all the sights.
