This place is beautiful and very well kept and operated by a French immigrant couple. This place features wood log cabins that you rent for your stay. They have different types available. The food at the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. No à la carte. The evening and morning menus are predetermined. The site huge and has maintained trails for a nice walk in the woods. Highly recommend. Would go back any time.

Nice rooms but missing some basics such as little fridge and maybe a second garbage can! Could be improved by adding a chair or sofa for more confort. Was very clean, nothing to complain about that. Nice shower with sufficient hot water and also good pressure! Will return for sure, next hunting or fishing trip!

We had the opportunity to visit this great place on Valentine Weekend. Axelle and Philippe are great host. They took care of us the whole time. We enjoyed a guided tour on snow mobiles with Philippe. We got to see wolf, moose and fox tracks. The food was fantastic. We enjoy both breakfast and dinner. We stayed in "L'Observatoir" which has a great view of the area. We will certainly be back.

I travelled all over the world since the last 25 years and this place ,the best in the La Tuque surrounding, has something special: beauty of the site, managed by french couple ,with kindness and quality..Axelle and Philippe, the perfect hosts. For my work in La Tuque I stayed to this place the last 12 months one week per month(the same for the last decade) and believe me , this is the best ''Haute Mauricie'' spot for singles, couples ,and families. You will enjoy it. Richard Poudrier ,jdge.

We spent 4 nights in this really lovely place. About an hour away from Lac St Jean, with loads of excursions in the vecinity. We were warmly welcomed by Axelle and her husband Philippe. The quality, cleanliness and comfort of their chalets cannot be faulted. Dinner and breakfast were very good indeed. We would recommend travelling to/through Quebec in late September early October to see nature at its best, amazing colours, still warm weather. Quebec is a wonderful destination, extremely welcoming people, great sense of humour and beautiful landscape. Do visit Le Bostonnais, we had a great time.
