My new husband and I came to honeymoon at the Chadwick and by some computer error, we had only booked one night, rather than 4. As soon as the owner Scot found out, he booked us for a second night, but couldn't get us additional nights because they were fully booked. He found us a night at another inn nearby...

Stayed for three nights during the beginning of January.Myself and fiancé arrived at the beginning of the 'polar vortex'. Scott welcomed us and made us feel at home instantaneously. Working hard to clear the drive of snow and allow resident parking he stopped what he was doing to give us a thorough tour of the B and B and escort...

I recently stayed at The Chadwick on a business trip, and cannot wait to return when I have more time to spend there! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and comfortable. It was a cold winter night, and the gas fireplace had been turned on in my room, so it was warm and cozy. The bed was incredibly...

My husband and I stayed at the Chadwick for New Year's Eve. We loved the house the minute we walked in. Our room was beautifully decorated without being over the top, and as many have said, all of our needs were anticipated. It was warm and cozy, we didn't want to leave! The neighborhood is adorable and the place is...

The inn is located in Portland's delightful and historic West End, convenient to everything. Rooms are comfortable and the bedding superb. What makes the place our repeated choice is the innkeeper, Scott, who anticipates and accommodates our every need and prepares "to-die-for" breakfasts. We are always a bit sad to leave.

This place was awesome. These guys did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, the room was nice and cozy and warm, and the house itself was beautiful. We stayed in the Chamberlain, and if you can deal with not having an on-suite bathroom (its right across the hall, not a problem) it is a great room. The location is...

I stayed for two nights in November with my wife and parents-in-law. We had a great weekend staying at the Chadwick. The Chamberlin was very spacious with nice hardwood floors, The Baxter was very small but very nice and private. We were staying in the winter so did not get to enjoy the small balcony in the Baxter, but imagine...

Loved it and told everyone I know about my wonderful experience. It was especially fun because I found the place completely unexpectedly through the app hotel tonight. Every detail was perfectly attended to by the innkeeper. Thanks!

Even though the weather was quite blustery and blizzardlike, this B&B met us with warmth! Great breakfasts and snacks! Cozy and warm rooms. Close to Portland's shops and restaurants. I would definitely go back to visit again!

My first visit was this month for pleasure and I felt totally comfortable with the casual yet elegant atmosphere. The rooms are unique and welcoming and I would recommend them for a variety of occasions. My second visit was just a week later and was unfortunately stress related so I was again very happy to stay in such a homey...
