Close within walking distance to old port and the hotel is just beautiful. The Lounge is a very nice to spend and evening with friends and family. The beds have to be the most comfortable I have ever slept in any hotel. You can order complementary coffee and danish the night before and it is at your door the time...

This is my third time staying at the Portland Regency- there really is no better place to stay! Aside from the perfect location and comfortable accommodations, the staff is so friendly and helpful. They seem to actually like their jobs and will answer any question with a smile. The Portland Regency staff truly know the meaning of customer service. Thank...

The hotel was a block from the waterfront. It was in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is an historical landmark. It fits in well with the old downtown. Our room was nicely furnished. As we had a ground room, it was somewhat dark. We would love to...

with all the boutique and historic blah blah lexicon, you'd expect a lot more. very basic rooms, very poor soundproofing, dull interiors, characterless. very nice staff and well maintained, however, and the hotel bar is fun. food is average but expensive.

Everything about the room was great. Check in easy. Perfect location to walk to various places. First time visiting. Bar area was great. Valet parking was available and kind of had to use it or risk parking on street etc. Made reservations to restaurant on premises but didn't need them and would not eat there next visit. Fun place to...

The outside of this historic property is perfectly maintained and situated in a prime spot to enjoy all that downtown Portland has to offer. We arrived Friday afternoon, all of our luggage, formal wear for the wedding and welcome bags for our guests in tow. A team of valets and front desk employees aided us in getting all of these...

Downtown Portland is a happening place, lots of shops and pubs and places to eat. One block over and you can walk along the harbor and watch the lobster traps being unloaded. The Regency is centrally located within walking distance to anywhere downtown. The accommodations are very comfortable, totally renovated but maintaining an old world touch. The hotel restaurant and...

This hotel is the perfect location if you're visiting the Old Port. You can keep your car parked and walk to almost any restaurant/bar/attraction. The hotel rooms have more of an Inn type feel, but the amenities are of the best out of the hotels in the Old Port. There's a spa, bar, restaurant, etc.

Spent 4 nights at the Regency and cannot wait to return. The hotel itself is beautiful. Love that they still use actual keys. The staff at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The gentleman who drove the shuttle from the hotel to the train station was so nice and personable. The bed was comfortable, and housekeeping kept our...
