When you think of Portland, Maine, you think of the bricked streets and the winding roadways. The Regency is all of that and more. Lovely Hotel. Do be careful if there are any disabilities - - very hard to navigate if you cannot walk. Entry has steep steps and alternate is not user friendly.

Well is was centrally located, with a free shuttle and the room was clean with a comfortable bed and new fluffy white towels but it was disappointing that our room looked run down with wall paper actually coming loose in large patches. Also the front desk staff was friendly at booking and check in but the various bellmen we encountered,...

My wife and I try to stay here every March during Restaurant Week. We get the Night on the Town package which covers our lodging, dinner and breakfast. The Regency never fails. The staff are wonderful, the location couldn't be better and the food is always top notch. You won't be disappointed.

Came here with my wife for the weekend. This hotel is perfectly located to everything you want. Quick walk to ton of bars and restaurants - or to live music, or to the harbor. It has a full spa for treatments if you'd like, valet parking, and a full bar downstairs. Great beers on tap, friendly staff. I can't wait...

I couldn't believe this place. We have stay in some of the finest big city hotels and they don't compare to the Regency. I would call this a boutiques hotel. I thought I would self park the car to save some money, it the garages were chock full due to the snow storm. So I pulled up to the front...

Easy to find, and centrally located to the Olde Port and the City center. Valet and front desk staff were friendly and responsive, service was as expected for this type of hotel in this price-range. Room was very clean, and even though we were right above a busy thoroughfare, I did not feel it was unusually noisy. The lounge was...

Walk out into the...

Great location, right in the middle of all of the restaurants and shops in Old Port. We walk to everything when we stay here. Hotel is historical and really nice. The restaurant 20 Milk St. is wonderful, and the hotel staff are always helpful. I stay here every year when I come to Portland for a weekend. Would not stay...
