I was so fortunate to choose this beautiful hotel when I needed to make an unexpected stay in Portland. This hotel just makes you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. Checkin was easy and loved the valet parking ($12 charge but so worth it). The rooms give you an old world elegance feel yet with all the modern conveniences....

Great historic hotel in Portland's rustic old port. Valet parking for only 12$ and the best restaurant recommendations come from the friendly reception staff. The room was very comfortable with the most plush mattress I've encountered at a hotel. If you book through hotels.com you save a pretty penny, but beware that you limited choice of rooms should you book...

The hotel is located in an ideal location very close to downtown. The rooms were clean and showers were excellent. They have valet parking which is good but also not so helpful if you're in a rush.I would've given five stars except that it was a little noisy the night we stayed because of a wedding. Overall great place to...

This hotel is located in what was the Maine state armory. There is a circular driveway in front of the hotel where there are valets waiting to take your car. We drove up in our rental before check in so that we could drop of our luggage before leaving to drop off our car rental. This went off without a...

Ok, there was an upgrade involved, but we had already reserved a 'new' room with balcony. What we got was huge, Literally. Very comfortable, very nice bath, crazy shower with the rain head overhead, two wall mounts, and the main shower! Very friendly staff, efficient and easy to work with. Very helpful Front Desk who can tell you everything you...

I booked this hotel a year in advance because we were attending a UNE graduation. Prices were very decent. We had previously stayed at the "HInn" on the bay, and our view was of a rooftop with bird poop. I knew we definitely wanted to stay in the heart of the town in the future! This location is perfect -...

Let's put it this way: The only names I remembered were Jose and Mia. Those two were nice and friendly. Everyone else we ran into was rude and curt. It started with the guy that met us at the curb all the way to the front desk manager into the restaurant and then the bar. Everyone seemed to be annoyed...

This hotel is so amazing and I am glad we found it for our trip. The location is great, we walked around town and always found our way back to the hotel. It's right in the heart of Portland Maine, so there were many options for dining, shopping and drinking. The rooms were very nice and clean. Service was great,...

This was our first stay at the Regency and our experience was great. Our check-in was quick and our room was well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the comforter was plush as were the bath towels, of which there were plenty. Little touches, like turndown service, along with chocolates and closing of the blinds made it feel like a cruise...

I just returned from a four-night business trip stay at the Portland Regency and the hotel itself was probably the highlight of my visit. So comfortable, clean, classy...beautifully appointed rooms, wonderful bedding (none of those motel-like bedspreads--all sheets and comforters), excellent linens and bathrobes, and plenty of little touches that make your stay just that much more pleasant: turndown service...
