We spent two nights at the Portland Harbor Hotel for our honeymoon. We booked a king size wheelchair accessible room (I use a wheelchair) a few months in advanced with a return rate. That was a smart move, because a week before our arrival, I checked the prices and they had dropped, so I was able to cancel our original... More

Location was an short and easy walk to the harbor, great restaurants, shops and bars. We selected this hotel over similar hotels in the area due to the courtyard fire pit! The autumn weather was perfect and evening cocktails by the fire as a great way to relax before turning in. Room was clean and large compared to other hotels.... More

I stay at a lot of different hotels. Some are grand and some are "dives". This one is not grand but its perfect for a quiet stay near the old Port area of Portland. The rooms are beautiful and very clean and tidy. lovely big kingsize bed meant a good sleep. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All of the staff that we encountered were attentive and pleasant. Our room was clean and the location of the hotel was amazing. We could walk to everything. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

The Portland Harbor Hotel is great for business or vacation. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the location is awesome ... except on weekends. Wharf Street (right next to the hotel) goes crazy on Friday and Saturday. If you're looking for weekend nightlife, it's there. It can get loud. Weekdays are very quiet.... More

We stayed here on our last night of a 17 day trip on the East Coast. A really lovely hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly a special mention to the Valet parking guy who gave us bar and restaurant recommendations. The room was great and the free tea and Starbucks coffee in the morning was very welcome. I... More

The Portland Harbor Hotel on Fore Street in Old Town is altogether perfect. The bellmen who take your luggage (and your car) are tops, and the reception at the front desk is warm, friendly, and very helpful. The lobby is elegant but not intimidating , decor is upscale New England comfort. The first impression is of understated elegance. The registration... More

1 night excursion during our visit to New England in late Oct. A little over 100 miles from Boston. Easy drive (disclaimer: we went on a Monday and returned on a Tuesday ). Hotel is ideally located a block or two up from the main street running through the waterfront district. Downtown is compact. Park the car and you can... More

Staff and accommodations are top notch. For weekends book well in advance . Great intown location you can walk to a variety of very nice dining locations as well as the harbor. Wall up the Eastern harbor walk for great exercise and stunning views of the shoreline.
