My husband and I visited this hotel for Valentines Day weekend. It was bitter cold so the location was fantastic. A short walk to anything in the Old Port. The fire in the lounge was a welcome sight! And the staff was great - very accommodating and welcoming. Why only 3 stars? The condition of our room. We had a...

Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We are terribly sorry that you experienced anything less than a perfect stay with us. We did unfortunately, have a mechanical issue with the heat on the first floor that weekend, and relocated our guests to upper floors to ensure their warmth. Understandably, many times, once guests...

Absolutely love this hotel. Friendly staff, great character, very cozy. I've been here in all seasons and it's always a welcoming place. Makes a winter visit to Portland worth while. Eve's restaurant has a solid menu and great service. Look forward to my next visit!

Very nice and centrally located. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants and Merrill Auditorium. The valet quickly grabbed our car and parked it at the hotel. Be aware there is a $20 fee for the parking. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the large soaking tub in the room. Staff were all friendly and nice. We...

This was my first time in Maine, let me tell you this hotel couldn't have been any better! Such an amazing home feel with the touch of a hotel. The chocolate lobsters on the pillow made my day. There is valet parking under the hotel, which is super convenient. Also be sure to pay the extra money to get the...

We stayed at this hotel same time last year and were unimpressed but decided to give it another shot this winter. We booked the executive suite to celebrate mine and my husbands birthdays and also booked massages at Nine Stone and dinner at Fore Street. Everything was great, beyond great, except the hotel. The room was ok, has a big...

Every January Daisy Doo makes us go on a food and beer trip to Portland as it is the opposite of what Woodstock VT has to offer. This hotel is always welcoming and the staff are excellent. I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and was delighted with the attentive staff, beginning with the valet and continuing with the front desk clerk. Location in the center of the Olde Port is perfect and the accommodations were perfect. Clean, friendly, welcoming. Will stay there every time I'm in Portland.
