I am so happy my boyfriend found this cute little bNb for us to stay at for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The rooms were perfect, clean and stylish and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The hosts could not have been nicer!!! They offered us amazing dinner suggestions and made the weekend feel extra special! Inn was within...

We stayed for two nights in the two room suite on the third floor. The good included Tim's breakfasts which although limited, were tasty. My wife loved his homemade yogurt and his egg dishes were very good. Our first impression of the inn was not good. The yards in front and off to the side were filled with tall overgrown...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend wedding in the old port. This lodging was superb for our purposes. We were able to walk the city and take in many attractions. The B&B was clean cozy and accommodating.

Four of us (2 couples) stayed here in July for a first-time visit to Portland. Whenever we're back, I would definitely stay at the Mercury again! I appreciated the info we got ahead of time and the easy self check-in. Parking was also a breeze, as we found a spot out front. We walked everywhere and didn't have to move...

My bf and I stayed over Labor day weekend for 3 nights. Parking was easy, we found a spot on the street and didn't move our car once. The B&B is decorated with a retro/hipster feel that I loved (especially the dining table in the breakfast room). We were in room 3 which was on the small side, but had...

The inn is charming, the room was perfect and the breakfast was amazing! Tim made the best homemade breakfasts, one better than the other. He also recommended fabulous places for dinner. Can't wait to get back to Portland and the Mercury Inn!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercury Inn. The property is extremely well-located, both for walking in Portland and for driving access to route 295. Parking wasn't a problem; all nights but one we were able to park on the street, and they have a system in place for seamless guest parking in the driveway. We stayed in Room 1....

great B&B in a good location - easy walking to downtown areas, seamless digital check-in/out process, easy (free) parking at inn or on street, very comfortable room with nice touches (white noise machine, activity/restaurant pamphlets), super quiet, tasty homemade breakfast - will recommend to others and will stay again next time in Portland!

...which, as other reviewers have noted, is fantastic - way, way, way beyond the often incredibly boring continental breakfast offerings of the other local inns/hotels . Our room (IV) was very spacious with a comfortable king size bed and, even though street-side, relatively quiet thanks to decently insulated windows and the purr of the A/C. The bathroom is down the...

From even before our arrival, when Tim helpfully answered lots of questions about local eating, to checkout, our stay at the Mercury Inn was characterised by great, friendly service. Tim and the assistant inn-keeper, Mark, were hugely helpful in answering our questions about the city and things to do, directing us in particular to Fort Williams for the views/walk, the...
